  1. I wouldn't mind Rios keeping his spot in the 3 hole.
  2. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 11:28 PM) Dunn certainly got his big payday with this deal, much better than his last one from the Nats that's for sure. But we're getting a bonafide LH slugger in his prime, which is what KW has been going after for longer than I can remember. He'll instantly add a fantasic OBP/SLG to our lineup, and in this ballpark 45-50 HR's in certainly attaianable if all goes well I would have thought. I found this interesting though; Looks like the money is certainly being thrown around in Free Agency again by the owners. Was in the midst of the beginning of a heavy recession.
  3. Everyone knows CQ shoots his State Farm commercials during the offseason.
  4. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 24, 2010 -> 05:43 PM) Is K-state really as good as they were ranked? I havent been overly impressed by them so far. They may be the most overrated team in the country. They have a 2nd tier PG...and yeah, that's about it. At least I can name 3 or more players off of any other top ten team. KSU? Not so much.
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 23, 2010 -> 03:01 PM) the hell you say, ERIC DAMPIER TO THE RESCUE!!!!!! They're probably better off paying Dampier 20 million a year than Bosh.
  6. Couple of interesting championship games tonight. Georgetown vs. NCST in Charleston and Minny/WVU in Puerto Rico.
  7. QUOTE (hitlesswonder @ Nov 20, 2010 -> 03:42 PM) IMO all of those teams are overrated, especially IL. Both UNC and IL have PG problems (IL has no backup PG at all). I think Minnesota will finish above IL in the Big Ten, they have a frontcourt that would crush IL and an excellent coach. Should be a fun team to watch. Illinois has arguably the best PG in the country whose capable of playing 35+ minutes a game. They have their problems, but that certainly is not one.
  8. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 19, 2010 -> 11:02 PM) McCamey had 2 fouls. He has 1.
  9. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 19, 2010 -> 10:56 PM) stuck at work with the wrong kind of internet to watch it on espn3.com. 4 point lead at the half. Has this been a game? Or is Illinois f***ing around like last night? Weber has been screwing around. McCamey sat the last 12 minutes of the half after an amazing first few minutes. Head and Griffey are getting big tick. Illinois is playing very well, they should be blowing them out right now.
  10. McCamey was unreal to start the game. Weber has sat him the last 12 minutes of the half.
  11. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Nov 19, 2010 -> 09:27 PM) If Jeter is worth $15 per year, what the hell is Alexei? Much less because he's not the face of New York city.
  12. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Nov 19, 2010 -> 07:32 PM) Back in the old days, the field ran down the left field line, why is it now down the right field line? Those were only 8 yard endzones.
  13. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Nov 19, 2010 -> 07:09 PM) Its not that rare that a wr or cb runs through the back of the endzone. The goal post is inches, this is feet of brick wall. When I saw it I couldnt imagine how they could play in that end zone without significant risk, Im glad they made the change because a college kid shouldnt have to risk injury over design stupidity. Padding, not bricks.
  14. Griffey is brutal on D. Heaven forbid they get a mismatch with him too, he's cooked.
  15. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Nov 19, 2010 -> 06:00 AM) Illinois has been incredibly frustrating to watch. I feel like they're clearly more talented and shouldn't be dealing with a tie game right now except they're playing dumb as s***. It doesn't even matter what the refs are calling. If they lose, they have no one to blame but themselves. This game has been incredibly frustrating to watch period. I don't know how you can take anything from it.
  16. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 19, 2010 -> 04:53 AM) the refs have taken over this game. It seems like every possession is a foul.
  17. How can you not love watching McCamey play? You can just tell he knows he's twice as good as anyone on a given court...4 TO's but otherwise he's been filthy. Rest of this game has been filled with bad decisions and lucky shots on both sides.
