  1. See no reason not to bring back both.
  2. Good chance that that is the last time you see him in a Sox uni.
  3. QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Sep 27, 2008 -> 10:16 PM) mms://a960.l1086962046.c10869.g.lm.akamaistream.net/D/960/10869/v0001/reflector:62046?auth=ca.dJc0dSbcc5aocgaAa.bybybqbwdtaRdo-bi3Q01-bA-0gfxjL7y-jal8jdj8kckgkgk7mijem6milgm7k8lkjfl9jkjck7kike link What program are you guys using?
  4. Can you blame a GM for the mentality of his players? I'm not sure. He's put together so many teams that should have won the division but simple haven't. Personally, I would love to have him on board as long as possible.
  5. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Sep 26, 2008 -> 02:14 AM) OC was the one who turned it. On a delay though since Alexei confused him by going to 2b to begin with.
  6. Why did Sphan think that ball was 600 feet out of here?
  7. He's been subtly doing this all season and it's funny that he takes flack for it, because he's dead right. I know I'm one of two here who want him back next season.
  8. The only thing I can think of is AJ's "attempt to injure" Morneau last year, but I'm pretty sure they were booing him before that too.
  9. QUOTE (Kenny Hates Prospects @ Sep 25, 2008 -> 03:41 AM) I'd make some drastic changes. Bat Thomas second.
  10. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 25, 2008 -> 03:23 AM) We gave away so many games this year. And each time it happened, we were told it was just one game. It's biting us in the ass now, isn't it? See Sig.
  11. Griffey has 4 out of our 5 RBIs this series. Yeah, you better not sit him, haters.
  12. Psh. It's Archnemesis, the Choke Crede, is what really made us successful.
  13. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 01:18 PM) Who do you think we could/should trade to get Figgins? Are you willing to deal Poreda for him? You are nuts if you wouldn't.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 02:35 AM) Why, we're still up 1 1/2 games. It's not like this was a nail-biter. We got our ass kicked, plain and simple. There's not one play you can pull your hair out over. This game clearly shows that there is something mentally wrong with us. We are scared.
  15. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 09:57 PM) I have to be honest. For like the last month (ever since I noticed I was around 9,500 posts), I was posting much more often for the sake of posting. Ban for spam please.
  16. I had a debate today with a friend about who Cubs fans hate more, the Sox or Cardinals. He's from downstate, and he simply couldn't grasp what I was saying. So I ask you, who do think Chicago Cubs fans would rather not see win a World Series, the Cards or Sox? I say it's definitely the Sox.
  17. The second episode was the best Always Sunny to date.
  18. What is the contract status of D-Weezy looking like? We signed him to a minor league deal, so I assume there is some sort of ML team option. I would love for outfield next year to look like it is now minus Griffey. RF- Dye CF- Swish LF- CQ 4- BA 5. Wise
  19. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 05:36 PM) FBI Searches Apartment in Palin Hack Case haha As I said earlier in this thread, I would highly, HIGHLY doubt it was him.
  20. QUOTE (BlackBetsy @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 12:42 AM) Just looking at matchups for the Twins series and noticed this - Joe Crede hit 7 home runs against the Twins this year. Wow. Brian Anderson hitting .462 / .462 / .769 AJ .404 / .440 / .489 Crede .400 / .429 / 1.050 A-Ram .341 / .357 / .512 OC .339 / .361 / .373 Dye .327 / .368 /.635 Swish .321 / .390 / .660 Konerko .240 / .298 / .460 Thome .234 / .362 /.362 Swish actually hits against the Twins, which is nice. I left out Quentin, but he was meh .242 / .277 / .468 Sox have outhomered the Twins in their 15 games 27-12. Wow. Crede with 7, Swisher and Dye with 5. On the other side of the coin: Mike Redmond .467 / .471 / .533 Gomez .350 / .381 / .550 Punto .346 / .414 / .500 Mauer .327 / .411 / .429 Cuddyer .294 / .368 / .471 Delmon Young .288 / .351 / .404 Morneau .288 / .354 / .475 Casilla .278 / .316 / .444 Kubel .237 / .262 / .579 (4 Homers) Span .235 / .350 / .412 B Harris .216 / .322 / .333 I doubt we'll see Adam Everett in the series...if we do it's a clear victory for the Sox ... he's .053 / .053 / .053 Good stuff. Would love to see BA in there for at least 2 starts.
  21. I hope Jose Molina ends up with the last HR there.
