There’s been a rumor for two weeks now that Manny visited the mystery team

Gregor clearly has someone in the Sox org that has told them they won’t go to 30 million per. We will see if he’s been lied to or not, but he’s pretty obviously not just making this up.

It’s hard to believe it’s true, but Gregor has been consistent with this. It would be sick if it’s accurate. You don’t spend 13 million on recruiting tools just to act cheap. I would gladly just take back every mediocre move they’ve made this offseason and just add that money to Manny.

So Chuck asked Renteria and Hahn if Eloy would bat 3, 4 or 5. Hahn was very cocky in saying offseason isn’t over and more players might be added.

Did Hahn specifically say they have an offer out to Manny? Don't believe he did, as that's not allowed by the CBA.

I'm not more or less optimistic about their chances after what Hahn said. I just hate the whole "progress cause we're at the table" crap they've said a few times of late.
