Kole Calhoun

Had heard Dbacks wanted Calhoun...wish he was off the board

Yep back to the drawing boards for teams once either Angels or Yankees miss out and get back in line

I’m thinking Grandal recommended him

Nothing interesting on Kaplan interview

No matter who they get, it seems like they’re giving up something of value

- Price/Benintendi - Thor/Nimmo - Marte/Musgrove (Archer) - Gray/Blackmon - Haniger/Gonzales

Passan reporting on Baseball Tonight that there’s some traction on a Price trade. No potential team mentioned.

Rosenthal was just on with Chuck and didn’t have any specific info about the Sox

I believe they’re going to spend a decent amount on the 2nd pitcher. Report out today that they were very aggressive in trying to get Lyles, but they came up short.

So one scout said the time isn’t right, and DVS decided to twist all of Hahn’s comments to fit that narrative.

Yep he’s not a good fit and wouldn’t be a “throw-in” prospect

Unless they attach a quality prospect with him

Sox were interested in Happ last year. He has a high AAV.

There’s been one signing in all of baseball today. No reason for anyone to be upset.

Interesting use of past tense

Btw, everyone knows all the exciting moves are saved for Soxfest. No reason to panic.

There’s no reason to overreact to anything he said tonight.

It’s a joke

They’re all in to compete for 2020

Not that he’s wrong, but I’m sure he will say “if they sign in Dec 9 or Dec 20, it doesn’t make a home run they hit count less”

Sign Castellanos, trade for JDM and trade Vaughn for Marquez

Or Avi signs with the Phillies
