You think the pictures Boras were referring to was the Jordan one?

Yes correct

Since I’ve said this for others, he’s another member of the DR WBC roster

Yeah I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad thing if true. I do have a conspiracy theiry that the reason there’s been none offered is because Manny is the one they’re trying to get under the radar right now.

Sure he would, he needs to keep the Phillies and WSox in the bidding no matter what.

Misdirection more likely, but not sure in which way. I will say that if after KW saying they have to get the fan base energized again etc., it would be a colossal error by the front office if it comes out they didn’t even offer a contract.

And there’s the Nightengale splash of cold water. Took him long enough.

The Sox have gotten someone before?

Gonna have to offer him closer money, which is fine by me.

You know where I stand, but it sure seems like he’s Yankees bound

I will say it sure as hell seems the Sox have a shot at something big. Not sure I’ve ever seen them so open about their plans.

So what is the take on the opt-out comment? I was glad to hear him say they weren’t opposed to it.

He said the opinion was based on info he heard today

Bowden says he thinks Sox and Nationals have best chance

FWIW, Baseball Tonight on ESPN2 about to discuss Harper

From what I've read on twitter, Boras has used Bowden as a mouthpiece before to get teams to raise their offer.

That won't go well for Texas

Appreciate the time you’ve taken to keep people updated on tweets

Except Ryan Raburn and the White Sox

God does this feel so much like a college basketball recruiting war where you just hope Kentucky and Duke don't offer due to not having a scholarship, yet you know it's possible they're trying to free up a scholarship. Too bad signing day isn't here.

Hope it works next time as well. I was like Will Ferrell in Old School and blacked out when it happened.

Makes me wonder if Sox pitched him as the face of their new TV deal?

And the 4th most popular player on the Cubs possibly (5th if Ross is a bench coach)
