Swing the freaking bat and stop guessing

Never seen someone swing under so many pitches.

Isn't it amazing? Truly an ugly swing in terms of mechanics. Painful to watch

Ugh Yolmer. Such an easy out

Nice job by Yoan

100 pct

It's been probably most entertaining storyline this entire dreadful season

Avi was a good prospect, but not some phenom.

Yet Yoan should easily have the higher WAR. Agree with you though, Eloy has the bat skills that are just special.

Very true, but at least the Moncada scouting report from KLaw was from minor league observations and not international competitions.

Cause he still has incredible physical tools

Terrible game outside Engel catch and Davidson pitching

I don't think he's nearly as vital as Eloy or Kopech

Yes which was way lower than everyone else. Can't remember the exact terminology but he didn't like something about how he wrapped his bat and would leave him vulnerable to certain type of pitches

His K rate in AA and AAA was not good. Basically everything KLaw said about him has been true.

He chased a handful of bad pitches tonight. He looked like he's never seen a slider in his life.

It would be nice if he would swing at strikes and take balls.

Awful game for Moncada. You could see this slump coming a mile away with how much he's been pulling off the ball since the ASB. OPS under .700 and way too many strikeouts of late.

You see him laughing when he fouled off the outside pitch and was told it was a strike? That was good to see

Avi playing Neal Walker on the warning track

Yoan misses 93 mph low fastball. Is Steverson even alive?

Not sure but between that and catchers coming to the Sox forgetting how to frame, it makes you wonder what the hell is going on

Just make Covey the closer for the rest of the year. He has no chance after the first time thru the order.

I've thought it was obvious all season also

Oh yay another piss poor block attempt by a Sox catcher. Just exactly what the hell are they teaching these guys?
