  1. Looks like that might be the LHP lineup they'll use to start the regular season
  2. Nothing linking White Sox to one of the top guys http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/july-2nd-pl...ing-into-focus/
  3. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Feb 26, 2015 -> 07:17 PM) No kidding. Repeat it enough and I guess it becomes a fact. I've seen NOTHING from the Sox that indicates they think Micah is anything other than a future utility guy. Hawk talked a lot about Johnson being a future star. When Beckham was traded last year, there was something on twitter I believe where he said Johnson was the 2B of the future. Also, I believe he had a great chance of being a September call-up last year and getting the ABs at 2nd if he didn't get hurt.
  4. I actually think Sanchez is a long shot to get the 2nd base job out of ST. If I had to guess, I'd go with this as depth chart: Johnson Beckham Bonifacio Sanchez I really think they want Johnson's speed at the bottom of the order.
  5. Not sure why Rice didn't get more touches in second half. Nunn, Egwu and Hill played terrible.
  6. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Feb 26, 2015 -> 05:09 AM) This should be a flagrant 1 but I'm going to be pissed if they call this after not calling Woodbury earlier. I hate both teams, but that was clearly worse. woodbury's at least was on the ball side. Egwu went after the non-dribbling arm
  7. QUOTE (Boogua @ Feb 26, 2015 -> 04:51 AM) At least Abrams/Tate should be much better at the 1 than Starks/Tate. Starks is a severely undersized SG. If JCL can give anything at the 1 that would be huge. Their perimeter play should be fine but the post play is going to be mediocre
  8. He might be my least favorite player since Lucas Johnson
  9. What a terribly played half by both teams. The refs messed a lot up, including not giving Iowa free throws on what should have been a loose ball foul on Egwu.
  10. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Feb 26, 2015 -> 03:43 AM) Terrible free throw shooting by Iowa so far. Uthoff is missing his shots by a crazy amount
  11. QUOTE (Jake @ Feb 25, 2015 -> 11:16 PM) I love Thibs, but if I have to pick between them I'm keeping Gar/Pax. I don't trust a different front office to put this much talent on the court, but I do think we can get someone to utilize the talent similarly well. I say get rid of all 3 of them
  12. Ken RosenthalVerified account ‏@Ken_Rosenthal Asked a baseball executive if Hamilton’s discipline was for PEDs. His response: “Worse.” The executive declined to elaborate.
  13. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 25, 2015 -> 04:09 AM) The Westbrook-Curry matchup won't be fun at all. Curry has turned into one of the most exciting players to watch in my lifetime. Not only is he a great shooter, but his ball handling gets better every year.
  14. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Feb 25, 2015 -> 08:29 PM) He still has 2 years left on his contract IIRC. The Gar thing isn't anything new. To my understanding his relationship with Pax is fine. I haven't heard a single "expert" on the radio that thinks Thibs is back next year. This was before the Rose injury.
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 25, 2015 -> 08:11 PM) i totally respect your knowledge of basketball but Jennings is a f***ing nutjob me-first chucker that i want no part of. I've always felt like Jarrett Jack is the perfect back-up for Rose. He's good enough that he can start and not completely kill your chances, and he can guard both positions if needed.
  16. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Feb 25, 2015 -> 05:09 AM) yap.. definitely... have no idea who they'd even replace him with tho Hoiberg
  17. Fair or not, I also think this guarantees Thibs is gone after this year.
  18. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 25, 2015 -> 04:03 AM) When was the last time this city had such a devastating injury? It's over for him. Lots of similarities between him and Prior.
