It’s obvious Getz sold Jerry on taking over and fixing the bad baseball Jerry was seeing under the previous regime by saying he’d improve the defense and IQ. Getz’s focus on players has been significantly different than his predecessor.

From the sound of it, they’re barely talking to teams as they wait for the market to clear.
