GREAT location on that fastball. Kendall almost broke his wrists on that swing. Don't even bother pitching to Butler.

Infield should be playing in here with Kendall's approach.

Good throw, and he's out. AJP with some awful throws tonight.

PK is also good at those plays cause even when he charges the ball hard, he's going so slow that his body is in good position to throw the ball. Guys like Bagwell used to come sprinting in on those plays.

Very nice play by PK on the bad bunt by Getz...he would have fit perfectly with the Sox.

White Sox vs Royals - 7:10 PM
Pretty mediocre effort by Viciedo, as he blocked his vision on the dive.

It's amazing, yet absolutely pathetic, how Beckham can't keep a consistent approach from one game to the next.

It's not often that nearly 80 games into the season, you can have 4 straight hitters with 3 combined homers.

White Sox vs Royals - 7:10 PM
Viciedo just missed that.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 02:19 AM) Thanks. Stop bunting. These KC Royals make Pirates look like GODS defensively It's just a waste of an at bat. Our hitters aren't good enough to recover from falling behind in the count.

QUOTE (noodle_53 @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 02:19 AM) It's like slow-pitch softball. Kotsay looked for the weakest defender, then hit it to him. I'm a huge fan of yours!

Kotsay with a rocket single!

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 08:37 PM) I still think A.J.'s "heads up" baserunning was the biggest turning point in the sox run. He doesn't do that, and the Angels potentially take a 2-0 series lead and who knows what could of happened. (especially in player's mindsets) Angels fans STILL b**** about that play till this day. Awesome post!

Ugh...jammed himself. That was definitely the inning to put up a crooked number.

If you're KC, do you hit Quentin here to set up the 4-6-3?

QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 01:53 AM) I don't regret seeing "Get Him to the Greek", but I wouldn't watch it again. Thought the ending was about to go the way of "Chasing Amy" ending or "The Wrester" at times. I can't stand P. Diddy but he was hilarious. Did you have to look away whenever they showed Jonah Hill's girlfriend also?

Very nice approach by Rios, as you can't fall behind against Greinke! Keep it going PK

White Sox vs Royals - 7:10 PM
Triple for Omar! Rios has to make solid contact here.

Nice inning for Peavy there, as he had better location.
