  1. Wow, are you f***ing serious? Kotsay is so damn slow, and makes a stupid base running decision. WHO THE f*** IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS MESS?
  2. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 26, 2010 -> 01:39 AM) Alright, Alexei. Nice approach
  3. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ May 26, 2010 -> 01:38 AM) If we're going to be 20-30 by June 1st, is it enough for Kenny to see ? Yes
  4. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 26, 2010 -> 12:34 AM) Stick a fork in it b****es. Hope the Phillies enjoy our pen. We won't get crap back. If there's one thing you can count on from KW, it's not getting good prospects for our veteran players. KW really is the most overrated member of the entire organization. Herm is the most underrated.
  5. Another hanger, this time a fly ball to the track. This is simply a case of one team showing up to play tonight, and one team that acts like they'd rather be doing anything but playing baseball.
  6. QUOTE (TitoMB @ May 26, 2010 -> 01:29 AM) Peavy is just not good anymore, apparently. 2 games does not make you good. An ERA near 6 with one start left in May. It's not an exaggeration to say this organization is doomed if Peavy, Beckham, and Quentin can't turn it around in the years to come.
  7. Peavy falling apart again this inning. Way to go Javy! He hands half the sliders he throws.
  8. It was great seeing 3 protect swings on an 0-0 count, 1-1 count, and 0-1 count.
  9. Man, we could easily be getting no hit. Greg Walker, keep up the fantastic work! That 6th inning was the most pathetic effort I've ever seen. If that's not enough to get your coaching staff fired, then nothing is.
  10. Castro should have never been brought back. His at bats are painful!
  11. Much better from Peavy. Finding his release point more easily.
  12. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 26, 2010 -> 01:09 AM) I'm hoping that Laumann know what he's doing, but who knows with this organization anymore. People that expect the Sox to go over slot recommendation are going to be very disappointed. JR would never do that to Bud.
  13. Quentin just can't square it up. He hits so many balls off the end of the bat. He needs to stand close to the plate again like he did in 2008. It will also help him hit offspeed pitches. This is disgusting offense tonight.
  14. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 26, 2010 -> 01:03 AM) God, i can't wait till the draft. This organization needs new blood. Fast. Signability baby!
  15. QUOTE (Capn12 @ May 25, 2010 -> 11:59 PM) How bad is Andruw f***ing Jones right now... Be nice if someone told him that he needs to stay on the ball. Between him, Beckham, and Quentin, it's a fight to see who breaks their neck first.
  16. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 25, 2010 -> 11:57 PM) I just hope it's simply an adjustment thing. Over his career he's displayed pure stuff that shouldn't be struggling this much in the AL. What adjustments can he really be making at this point? He already said he made the adjustments needed when he had a few good starts in a row. Now, it seems like he has no bite on his slider again and no movement on his fastball.
  17. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 26, 2010 -> 12:55 AM) Must feel really good about yourself when you say things like that, don't you? Trust me, I want to love Jake Peavy.
  18. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 26, 2010 -> 12:54 AM) 3-0 deficits feel like 8-0 deficits with this team. We're getting closer to June 1st, as well as AJP's deadline. This team never builds off of any momentum from the game before, and that's usually a sign you're just not a very strong team.
  19. Batting practice for the Indians. That slider is absolute trash tonight.
  20. QUOTE (Capn12 @ May 26, 2010 -> 12:50 AM) At least Andruw is producing at the plate right now!! Well...ok maybe not. I think the Sox are pissed at him. Between Jones being benched for an entire series and Melton absolutely going off on him in the pregame, it seems like Andruw upset someone.
  21. I said this when it happened, and I still believe it today: give me Clayton Richard, prospects, and a ton of money for other holes over Jake Peavy in the AL.
  22. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 26, 2010 -> 12:48 AM) Wtf. Peavy f***ing blows. What a s***ty season he's having. His stuff just isn't overwhelming so far this season. Hawk always talks about how a pitcher needs to battle when he doesn't have his good stuff, and Peavy hasn't done that at all.
