White Sox vs. Angels, 5/5/07 (W)
QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:20 PM) To be fair, Dye is very very very slow. Of course he is....I was probably the first one pointing this out last year, in regards to how awful his defense was/is. However, there was nothing he could do on that deep fly ball by Chone. If anything, he did a great job of fielding the tough hop off the wall and holding him to a double.

QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:19 PM) Are you kidding me? The entire purpose of a 2-seamer is to drop. Break is usually used for curves/sliders. I'm just giving you a hard time.

QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:17 PM) His two-seamer isn't breaking. Come on Jon, get it together, god damn! How does a 2-seamer break? Hey Santo....when they talk about career stats against a pitcher, do they include postseason stats?

That 90 mph fastball high and out over the plate isn't a very good pitch.

Garland's throwing meatballs for the last two innings. We're so bad!

White Sox vs. Angels, 5/5/07 (W)
And the 3 run early lead is going to be gone soon. For as good as our starters have been, they seem to do just enough to lose a lead.

Good grief Dye....don't you know you're in a free agent year? I remember when he used to drive the ball to the opposite field. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:08 PM) Dye you f***ing blow. Please retire. Will you stop with the idiotic comments. There's no problems being negative....but some of the s*** you say is way too extreme.

Nice to still have the lead. We better keep scoring, because they're not done. Warning track power. I'm stunned a Sox prospect hit .100 in his first 10 at-bats after getting called up.

Nice catch by Dye....not exactly sure why we went first pitch fastball to him. Can we have the lead after this inning? Eric Karros went to the Hawk school of making excuses for pitchers.

White Sox vs. Angels, 5/5/07 (W)
Well....we're doomed. Teams make it look easy when they go opposite field vs Sox.

White Sox vs. Angels, 5/5/07 (W)
Tough inning brewing for Garland. There's one run back, and I'm sure they're not done.

It's amazing how bad Crede looks. Thank heavens we didn't give him a fortune. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 5, 2007 -> 08:49 PM) Don't go taking the foot off the gas boys. Yep, Angels have a good offense....no way Garland keeps them below 3 runs for the whole game.

White Sox vs. Angels, 5/5/07 (W)
SSI....did you see that chart saying Dye has no hits on low and away pitches. PK in pull monkey mode in that AB. Nice defense by Garland so far....PK narrowly avoiding the collision.

Could Cintron have turned that double play if he got the throw off?

White Sox vs. Angels, 5/5/07 (W)
That was a cheap homer by Bonds. QUOTE(TheOcho @ May 5, 2007 -> 08:27 PM) f*** you Fox. I'd rather watch history than a team that's history.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ May 5, 2007 -> 08:24 PM) He is putting the bat on the ball. Which is more than I could say for Anderson when he was up. A ball put in play can find a hole, a ball swung on and missed for strike 3 is an out everytime. Saying someone looks better than Anderson is like winning the biggest midget award. Leadoff walk to Vlad is inexcusable.

Ah Pablo....you really suck vs RHP. Can we just switch to the NL for the next few weeks? QUOTE(kyyle23 @ May 5, 2007 -> 08:22 PM) I guess I missed that Uribe is out, meanign he is hurt. I thought he just had a day off He's back in Chicago to be with his ailing mother.

Erstad! Way to pick up Sweeney. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ May 5, 2007 -> 08:20 PM) You can double switch though. it isnt imperative to have an SS available on the bench, although DHing Mackowiak does make more sense You can't double switch with the DH. Once DH goes into the field, the DH is deactivated.
-
White Sox vs. Angels, 5/5/07 (W)
No one else I'd rather not have up than Sweeney when you need a fly ball hit deep into the outfield. He's so overmatched right now.
-
White Sox vs. Angels, 5/5/07 (W)
With Uribe out, this is why you don't DH Ozuna. We have no back-up SS now.
-
White Sox vs. Angels, 5/5/07 (W)
Congrats to Cintron! Let's get this run in with less than 2 outs.

White Sox vs. Angels, 5/5/07 (W)
Another weak pop up by Crede to the right side. He's been the worst out of everyone.

It's so refreshing to hear a different set of announcers with different viewpoints.

QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 5, 2007 -> 08:07 PM) In other news, I just had a 453 note streak on Guitar Hero II. GOD DAMN IT! So close to the f***ing achievement!!!! Dye is terrible. Ugh. I miss Big Jim JI JIM THOME I thought you weren't watching for a month?
