  1. Yep he’s basically turned into a finesse pitcher with spotty command
  2. There’s not a person in the world that watched his post game press conferences this year and thought he was a good fit, health wise, for this team. I don’t think this is a PR team, as they wouldn’t have had him meet with the media earlier today.
  3. They’re in a great position to win the AL Central the next few years
  4. Looks like a 12 year old seeing a breaking ball for the first time
  5. No kidding, their top 5 in the order are so damn good
  6. Even the manager can’t avoid the IL
  7. I really think the rumor of one last ride for JR and Tony is correct
  8. God we are so screwed
  9. Balta, any idea how many homers to right the Sox have hit at home compared to their opponents?
  10. Of course, it’s all ridiculous. One major thing that we all see is that with right field being such a launching pad, the ridiculous lack of lefty power this year has killed the Sox.
  11. Also, Tony said he doesn’t want cheap homers to dictate MLB games. I love how we have Jerry and Tony trying to Make Baseball Great Again.
  12. Sorry, one other interesting tidbit. Pollock mentioned some players try and cheat then to pull the ball, since hitting opposite field fly balls won’t be effective. I’ve definitely noticed his swing being off all year due to cheating at the plate.
  13. Thought it was interesting that Vaughn says he doesn’t try to pull the ball in the air. He either needs to change that or find a new team, as his power numbers will be average then with that approach.
  14. Sox hitters and Menechino are saying ball doesn’t travel to opposite field, especially for the righties. Can’t make this shit up.
  15. At home, yes. But he said that the ball flies more in Cleveland and Minnesota. Knowing the Sox org, they probably messed up the humidor
  16. Said it in another thread but Menechino believes the humidor is too impactful at home compared to on the road, per Fegan’s latest article
  17. In Fegan’s article, it feels like they’re blaming the humidor at the park for the lack of power. Can’t wait to hear that excuse 100 times this offseason.
  18. Grandal 1st, Leury 2nd, Yoan 3rd, Pollock 4th Sad thing is I believe everyone but Seby has been disappointing on offense
  19. And let’s be honest, the Sox are so banged up they might be the worst offense in the majors. Impossible to go on a big streak with half the lineup having minimal talent.
  20. Just shut him down
