After the first time through for the Sox order, how predictable were the following things: -Weak grounder to 2b by Willie -Pop up by Jose -Overswinging weak contact by Crede- -Weak grounder to left side by Sandy

Schoeneweis is not a major league caliber starter! He can't get righties out. Maybe we can trade him to a team looking for a lefty set-up man. Also, how sad is it that the Tigers line-up is way more dangerous than the White Sox line-up is?

The biggest advantage that the Twins have over the Sox is at the catching position, even with Mauer out. However, when he comes back, it's not even close. Also, Juan Rincon is a lot better than Politte. Marte is better than Romero, their lefty specialist. It's just very hard to compare the Sox to the Twins right now with Frank and Maggs out. BTW, Frank and Maggs account for nearly 33 percent of our payroll. Hard to win a division with that happening.

The depth of the Twins bullpen is vastly underrated. If they do get Benson, then their pen will be Nathan, Rincon, Romero, Balfour, Fultz, and Mulholland. That's a hell of a lot better than Shingo, Marte, Politte, Jackson, Cotts, and Adkins.

We also had Maggs and/or Frank for most of those games, and they didn't have Stewart and/or Mauer for those games. Anyone who compares these rosters and thinks the Sox are better is foolish.

Anyone who says that we should open the picketbooks for Maggs is foolish right now. His knee condition is going to likely make him a permanent DH in a few years. There are reports that his condition can easily lead to fractures, etc. With a payroll around 60 million, you just can't risk 25% of it going to someone who will always be on the DL. Look what happened to the Orioles with Albert belle.

Why is Borchard still in the game in CF, but not Rowand? All Ozzie had to do was put the catcher in at Borchard's spot, like a double switch.

Am I the only one that has been extremely impressed by the Twins managing this series? They're doing all the little things right. A big reason they do all the little things is cause they have the perfect players for the style they play. In the offseason, Ozzie and KW are going ot have to develop a strategy, and find players that fit the bill.

Nice to see Jose try to hit a grounder on the hit and run..not. He's giving himself no chance to do anything but homer, fly out, or K. It's good when you're hot, but not when you're facing good pitchers.

If the Sox are about 8 games out in mid August, I wonder if Loaiza could pass waivers, and we could trade him ot the Yanks? Of course, I'd rather be in contention, but we should try to get something for him if we're not going to win this year.

I forgot that Burke is shaken up. If Sandy isn't able to play often, why not put him on the DL (so he can stay on the bench) and bring up anotther reliever. We've used our relievers so much lately, and there's not been a day off for a long time.

So we started Ben Davis is 2 of the 3 games in the biggest series of the year so far. Very intersting decision.

With PK up and a sinkerballer pitching, why not try a hit-and-run to shake things up? The Twins have shoved it up the Sox ass the entire series by running the bases at every possible time.

What type of odds could you get that Wilile Harris would hit a weak grounder to 2b and that Loaiza would get hit hard cause he kept pitching everything on the outside corner?
