The most disappointing thing about that whole damn thing is that Denis Leary, a long time Red Sox fan, had no clue that Gabe Kapler was Jewish. For shame Denis, for shame.

So basically he has finally found some success at the age of 25, in a weak IL and if you look at any of his stats that aren't ERA or Wins they're not that impressive at all. He's basically getting demolished on the road and the trends from his early years in the minors have followed him to AAA as well.

Eric Byrnes is a hardnosed basamaball player.

IMO the W/L record of a pitcher should no longer be kept as a stat. It's a damn shame that a guy like Johan Santana has to miss out on winning a Cy Young simply because he only won 16 games last year, quite the joke.
