  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 08:38 PM) That's what I figured based on the line score. De Aza's having quite the season. His head has been somewhere else all year.

  9. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 11:46 AM) Any word on Daniel Bryan? Very odd ending between him and Orton last night, it looked like he was legit hurt the way him and Orton reacted when the match was called The finish was not scripted... Last night on Raw Randy Orton defeated Daniel Bryan after the referee stopped the match when Bryan appeared to be injured during the match. That finish was reportedly a legit finish; the scripted finish involved Bryan cleanly pinning Orton to continue his push, however Bryan suffered a stinger as he dove to the outside. After Bryan went backstage, he reportedly got "irate" and stood up to Triple H, arguing that the match shouldn't have been stopped. The argument got heated and went down in the gorilla position, with several witnesses. People were said to be shocked by the argument because of how soft-spoken and easy-going Bryan usually is, especially considering the fact that he was standing up to Triple H. Bryan's argument was that he's worked all over the world and worked hurt, so he knows when he can finish out a match. Triple H countered that they were protecting Bryan and didn't want anyone hurt. The two eventually apologized to each other and Bryan is backstage at Smackdown tonight, where he will face Dean Ambrose as scheduled. Credit: PWInsider

  13. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 07:22 PM) Of course, another big defensive blunder....with Golden Boy this time. Sigh. We're third in the AL in errors....climbing again. Just unreal 2-0 already.
  14. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 05:17 PM) I've noticed people are really down on Keenyn Walker. I know he sucked in his first two months in AA, which shouldn't be too surprising given that he only got 143 ABs in A+ last year, but he's starting to play very well in June. So far he's got a .300 AVG & .407 OBP on the month. The power is pretty much non-existant, but he does make up for some of that with stolen bases. He turns 23 in August, so he could start next year in AA and still be age appropriate. I definitely wouldn't write him off yet. Mitchell and Walker neither one top 10 prospects at this point just more in the long line of wasted first round picks.
  15. Marian Hossa is "likely to play" in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup final Wednesday night, according to Chicago Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville. Hossa was a last-minute scratch Monday night, but judging by Quenneville's comments after the game and this afternoon it sounds like he was doubtful to suit up in Game 3. Ben Smith, who took Hossa's place in the lineup, didn't warmup because Quenneville didn't want to tip his hand. If Hossa returns for Game 4, expect Smith to find himself in the press box again. 16. 1 win out of 4 at Planet Houston.
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 17, 2013 -> 10:34 PM) Pop up by Viciedo. Any Soxtalkers still huge on his future? I'm kind of down on him, fully aware he's the hero of tonight's game. Just wondered if anybody is all ga-ga over Viciedo like I was two years ago. I thought he would be farther along in his development by now. Still has some more time not ready to give up on him yet.
  18. QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 17, 2013 -> 09:46 PM) How is Chara not penalized there? He got a minor penalty.
