When is community service not comunity service
He should've never jumped right into the pros. This is beyond rediculous, way to get off easy.

Wow 40k, that's crazy. Congrats.

Am I crazy?
I wouldn't call you crazy but I don't entirely agree here. For sure they have many more bad teams than we do. The NL has the entire NL West, Pittsburgh, and Florida. I wouldn't brag about Washington, Philadelphia, or Chicago either. Cincinatti is surprising while Milwaukee is where I expected them to be. The top 4 teams in the NL are St. Louis, Houston, New York, and Atlanta as far as I'm concered. Atlanta for some reason can never win in the post season anymore so they're gone. New York is going great right now but who knows if they can keep it up all season. Houston depends on Roger Clemens in my opinion. So that leaves St. Louis to be the top team in my eyes. I would say that St. Louis and New York are better than Los Angeles and Oakland in the AL. But I think Chicago, Cleveland, New York, and Boston are all better than the NL.

God bless Jeff Brantley
When I heard him say that last night I started laughing so hard, normally I'd just give a funny look but this was hilarious.

Luke Walton vs. Steve Nash in a jumpball, I wonder who's gonna win.

Official NBA Playoffs Thread
Yeah I couldn't believe there wasn't a foul called on the last play of regulation. Before that I'll blame Nash. Parker possible could've been called for a foul on that but I wouldn't have called it, and then I knew Bryant was going to make that shot that tied it up. In overtime I could see Nash wanting a time out and obvoiusly the ref didn't see that or something, then calling that a jump ball? Give me a break.

Mario Williams to be #1 Pick
I know this is about the Texans and Williams but I'd love to see Tennessee draft Young over Leinart, but with Norm Chow at Tennessee now I'd be surprised if they drafted Young.

Mario Williams to be #1 Pick
Was Courtney Brown the last defensive player picked number 1 overall? Anyways I hope the Texans get a good impact player out of him.

Keith Hernandez doesnt like women in the dugout
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 10:26 PM) I dont see any sort of a double standard. And he definitely had a chance to regroup and use a mulligan, but he only made the problem worse and stood by his remarks. Supposedly he has been reprimanded, whatever that means. I said the worst part of his comments was when he backed them up. I'm thinking we agree on that.

ahhhh, where to start with this. Yes I think he shouldn't have said those things and no I'm not going to defend him for saying those things. What hurt him to most in my opinion was the last part where he said he stands by what he said. When I see this I see two things wrong with our standards here. 1. Obviously times have changed and that doesn't need to be said at all. 2. I also feel like there could be a double standard here mainly because a man said it about a woman. I'm trying to think of a scenario where it's the opposite but I just can't. I don't know, I guess for the longest time a delivery room was no place for a man and that was ruled to be ok. That's the best I have right now. I just think there's somewhat of a double standard, but none the less they were stupid comments.

Getting #9 would be sweet. Let's take care of business in the West Coast.
