The job of a 5th starter is to give you 5 innings, to keep you in the game and to attack hitters. Everyone forgets that this is what Danks is doing and the minute he gives up a few runs its time to trot him down to the minors or trade for some over rated bum who would get bombed at a much higher rate. If Danks can give us decent starts, this experience in the long run is going to help us out. Why are our small guys trying to lift the ball in the air.

Relax everyone. Danks is a fifth starter making his what start. He is going go have nights where he is good and some where he is bad. Everyone forgets El Duque and how he wasnt exactly lights out all the time. A young 5th starter isnt going to be nails every f***ing time out. Just take a breathe.

Why would we put Ozuna who is a disaster in LF and keep Brian who can catch a ball as the designated hitter. Why wouldnt we take advantage of Brians best asset, his D. You know Kong can DH and we could play Erstad at 1st. We have no flexibility in the OF now. Yuck.

Last year we lose that game. This year we pull it out. Let keep the good thing flowing.
