  1. It looks like the tigers are looking for answers on how Zoolander gets rocked by the sox, but by no one else. They can roll their investigation up, The sox can hit any pitcher no matter how hard they throw if they challenge over the plate. The sox will look like a team possessed against Verlander, but put a soft tosser like Redman, Moyer, or Rodgers and they look silly. Zoolander thinks the sox are getting hits off of him tipping pitches.
  2. Anderson drives in 2. The bullpen shuts them down, and Buerhle has a good outing. Now lets sweep them out of the state and send them into a tailspin.
  3. QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Aug 12, 2006 -> 02:49 PM) he has the beaver hair
  4. Konerko needs to remind himself, that a late inning AB does not always have to result in a home run. You can hit a double and keep the line moving for the other good hitter behind you Jermaine Dye.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 12, 2006 -> 02:38 PM) Last time PK faced Grilli with two guys on, he hit a 3 run homer. Wait a second, Jason Grilli is coming into this game. Who is backing him up Danny Wright and Felix Diaz.
  6. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 12, 2006 -> 02:33 PM) Gooch is gonna get nailed in the face one of these days. Thats was I was just thinking. He closes off when he approaches the plate, and that ball is riding in. To win tomorrows game, we need to blindfold freddy, drive him in from a part of the city he has never been to, tell him its a road day game, then tell him the Tigers are good, show him a copy of the standings. Have him a simulated 1st inning, and then we have a chance.
  7. No control and a 1-0 count and Mr. Dergan swings away. Nice job leadoff hitter.
  8. QUOTE(Maverick0984 @ Aug 12, 2006 -> 02:29 PM) ESPN gamecast is calling this the rubber match of the series?? The Boohya network has no clue. They stop worrying about details if the Red Cubs or the Yanks arent involved.
  9. Fernando has no control this inning. Thats should be a cue to our hitters. Dont hack unless the count suggests that you take the ball off your shoulder.
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 12, 2006 -> 02:24 PM) He can dunk a basketball, and he kicked a 50 yard field goal at Ford Field. But he cant hit for average, and is bascially Rob Deer with some speed over at 3rd.
  11. QUOTE(Greg Hibbard @ Aug 12, 2006 -> 02:23 PM) jesus f***ing christ scott Everytime a fly ball goes that way I cringe.
  12. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 12, 2006 -> 02:12 PM) Yes! Great job by Sandy. I wouldn't be shocked if we see the squeeze now. He had a few walk-off sac flies for the Sox. Well you, Pinella, and Leyland all got it right. The pitch out happens, and Crede is hung up.
  13. Somene must be maning a laser turret over on the 1st base side. Only a green laser in the eyes could explain how 2 different teams had the same play at the same point in the game with the same result.
  14. Dye hits a liner to right. This is what all of our right handed hitters should of been trying against junk away.
  15. Take the gamblers change up to right, and if he does lay a fastball in there tear it apart. Trying to pull that outside changeup makes the Gambler look like Cy Young.
  16. Do my eyes deceive me, one of our starting pitchers threw a complete game shutout.
  17. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 09:45 PM) No walks! If 2 guys reach base this inning, Jenks should get loose. Jenks arm is going to fall off after pitching an inning last night and almost 3 a few nights ago. Let McDougal close this out tonight.
  18. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 09:41 PM) It almost went over the fence. By my calculations, Anderson leads the team with 115 homers over the first base dugout. During practice he has a bunch, he just hits them to our LF and then runs around the bases.
  19. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 09:39 PM) Leave the predictions to the professionals, kid. My magic 8 ball was wrong.
