  1. Well Stanford graduates would disagree. This is where you place most of your budget spending.
  2. 19 left after today and they will be 5 out in the loss column. They have to sweep the Guardians and that still might not be enough. Large amount of people with this organization should be unemployed after this year with what has happened.
  3. The fact that they have to have a project "Birmingham" because they need to have all of their best instructors in one spot says enough about the development of this organization. The Twins, Dodgers, Rays, etc. don't have to send all of their top prospects to one place to learn to play baseball because they have a way, a singular voice on how to play that brand of baseball. We don't teach s%*#. They come up not knowing how the game is played.
  4. That's because the chessmaster went for a closer who wasn't going to close and historically didn't do well in that role last year. And then double down on being dumb. Hahn needs to go.
  5. Eloy watching the ball instead of running heads down cost him from being safe. He watched it while he was running almost 25 feet out of the box. Then went head down. This is a dumb fundamental team.
  6. The owner cares more about righting a perceived wrong than the fans or the team. I wouldn't be surprised if Tony is back next year.
  7. This is a lefty pitcher with meh stuff. This is exactly the type of pitcher that the sox have historically have wrecked. And this guy is shutting us out.
  8. The time of death was when Josh Naylor drops his nuts on the sox at home.
  9. Considering he does the same thing on every fucking pitch he has figured something out. You need rosin ever pitch, really.
  10. Its like they cant see it all the way and guess on where they think it was going.
  11. The Indians are playing like they want to win the division. They are having moments. We cant figure out how to play fundamental baseball for 9 innings in a row.
  12. Of course they are running on AJ Pollack. They watched him throw already. Its a lazy loopy effort and poor throw. The catcher needs to catch the ball. Then you have Dylan Cease who doesn't know what a PFP is and wasn't backing up the base.
  13. Dear White Sox catchers. Low inside pitches to lefties are historically the "go" zone for them. So targeting that area for a first pitch fastball is, the term is dumb. Don't do it. Its dumb.
  14. So the Rockies pitcher has the Little League World series umpire? A few off each side is considered a strike?
  15. This was something I always was taught. Make sure you hit the cut so the trailer doesn't advance.
  16. Not that it would matter but my lord Pollack, who taught you to field a ground ball in the outfield and make a throw. Most OF are taught to line it up and drive your momentum through the ball. You did some sort of fast foot sidestep of the ball and had zero momentum. You can do a prep step and drive through the ball.
  17. He is 78 years old with a pacemaker. This is not a guy who was out playing tennis or running marathons. He is 78. He is too old to be a manager at the MLB level. The grind and the requirements with travel and hours are beyond that of a person his age without a pacemaker more or less with one.
  18. Tipping? He is missing location and getting large parts of the plate with 2 strikes
  19. I have noticed that we havent been IBBing players in critical situations with 1-2 counts since the corpse has been gone.
  20. I was right. This is a bad team we are playing. Time to take advantage and get a win.
