It could just be the wisdom teeth poking through the gums. That hurts for a day or so but soon goes away. I would advise not getting the wisdom teeth removed. My dentists practically made (and still do on each visit) it seem like my life is in danger by leaving them in. But they haven't affected my other teeth at all, even though they said there was no room at all. It's an unnecessary procedure which too many people accept without questioning
