Artie Lange...what happened?
Before this incident, on the surface it may have looked like things were turning around for Artie. He was seeing a therapist, got back on depression medication (although he may have been stretching the truth on these two), becoming more involved with his young and beautiful girlfriend, and cancelled all his gigs for 2010 which caused him so much stress. But I could tell something was off. His body was in the studio, but it felt like nobody was home. I hope he can somehow rid himself of the misery and continue, I'll miss him being on the show

Leno going back to Late Night
Conan's ratings have been slipping ever since Jay's horrible show became his lead-in. I can't wait until he takes over late night again so we can watch him do a bunch of bits he's stolen from other people

Soda, Pop, whatever
I can get Dublin Dr. Pepper here in TX that is made with real cane sugar. It is my favorite soda, hands down. Unfortunately it is > $1/bottle. I tried Pepsi's soda with real sugar, and it was slightly better than normal Pepsi. The aftertaste was sweeter. Maybe if it were packaged in glass bottles it would be on the same level as Dublin Dr. Pepper, the aluminum can must alter the flavor

QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 5, 2010 -> 11:41 PM) Yes, but they were playing awful football when he was throwing all those interceptions. The game against Indiana, for example. That game was ugly, but the winds were unbelievable that day. Maybe he shouldn't have been so reckless, but whatever. The IU QB also threw a season-high INTs

Best Available Fit Left: Delgado
QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 20, 2009 -> 09:05 PM) I just find it a bit hypocritical for Delgado to make tens of millions of dollars in this country, probably fairly directly because of a lot of the things he refuses to support about it, and then refusing to stand for God Bless America. How do you know he's not at home burning all those greenbacks?

What's your OCD?
It is so stupid, but my programs must be in a certain order from left to right below on the Windows Taskbar. Like at home, Pokerstars or iTunes cannot be to the left of Firefox or MLB.tv and at work if Email isn't on the far left it upsets me

Halladay to Phillies in 4 team trade
QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 17, 2009 -> 12:45 AM) Yeah, lame, but they needed the CI bat much more than another OF... That doesn't justify trading a player of higher value for one of lower value. The Jays scouts and GM must see something beyond the stats or feel that Wallace being pushed a little more than Taylor puts them as roughly equals. But right now Taylor has shown more power, better walk rate, lower K rate, isn't as slow as Paul Konerko, and isn't as likely to be relegated to 1B/DH

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 16, 2009 -> 05:18 PM) The Blue Jays did fantastic, actually. Except swapping Taylor for Wallace...wtf?
