Dodgers-Cards Finale
You are forgiven, my young bard.

What do the Sox need the most?
The poll results make it pretty clear what we need to do this offseason. I hope we don't go after Lima. That's like buying a stock at its 52-week high. Granted, I don't know if Lowe could give us the 20+ win, sub 3 ERA he did only once before. I'd just hate for Kenny to pick up nobody to help our rotation.

Dodgers-Cards Finale
I just think they wanted to hug other men. Just kidding, it was a classy move. For future reference, something like this goes in the Sports Bar, as it is not White Sox related.

What do the Sox need the most?
I do not think he is the best starter available. That goes to Pedro or Pavano. But watching the playoffs have turned me off of Ortiz, Perez, Wright, and even Radke. I would hate to overpay for one of these guys and have it turn out to be a bust. If the prices were close, I'd probably take Radke or Perez over Lowe but you know Lowe will be the cheapest in that bunch. I think we could realistically sign Lowe for $4 mil/year, maybe less. Again, I really like him because his style is very condusive to winning in Coors East. Garcia Buehrle Lowe Contreras Garland I think that's very good.

What do the Sox need the most?
I really think we should go after Derek Lowe. He could be a sleeper. I like his career 3.4 G/F ratio and that he's averaged less than 15 HR's given up per year as a starter. Also, with him having a bad year in 2004, he cannot command a draining contract. Good 3rd starter.

Sean Penn is a little bitch
I don't know if that is real. Sean Penn doesn't know how to use the contraction 'you're'? Maybe Windows should create grammar-check.

On a side-note, Odalis Perez is not looking like a good pickup for the White Sox.

With the Playoffs Starting
Just like last year, I will be rooting for every Yankee, hopefully for only three days. I hate the Twins more than the Cubs.

Those two are comedic geniuses. If you can handle their warped sense of humor. Fortunately, it's right up my alley. Looking forward to this film.

Maggs - 2nd surgery done
Beltran-like and 2-3 mil per year are quite different. I believe he'll be making more than you predicted.

What the A's and Cubs Have Taught Me...
All three of those pitchers had at least 14 wins AND ERA's under 4. Can any 2004 starting rotation in the majors say that for themselves? (The answer is 'no'). Lackey was 9-4 with a 3.66 ERA. I'll take Sele as fifth starter anyday. That rotation sucks ass? Come on, that's entirely not fair. Also, I just can't agree with the last sentence of your statement. Are you saying a mediocre rotation+good bullpen has a better shot at the postseason than a good rotation+mediocre bullpen? I suppose it has a lot to do with the offense, wouldn't you agree?
