QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Aug 16, 2007 -> 07:23 AM) Im confused too. If they are saying the words backwards, and all of the actions they are doing in reverse, isnt the video shot backwards and also played in reverse? What do you mean by shot backwards? If you mean they start shooting the action at the end and work their way to the beginning, then I think that's true.

Where's the video of this?? If they have still pics, they have video. And why is he swinging the bat at them with one arm? It makes it harder to swing the bat and easier for others to tackle him.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Aug 15, 2007 -> 08:56 PM) I dont care if the song is good or not, this video is cool http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1749622 Shot backwards Shot backwards? Or played backwards? David Lynch shot part of an episode of 'Twin Peaks' backwards. If I understand it correctly, the actors were saying their words backwards too. Then he played everything forward and everyone was moving and talking strangely. I don't think that's what is going on in this video. I've confused myself.

'Californication' was pretty good, I'll tune in again.

"Girls are bad to have around the band." "Like 'Wham', they never had any girls around them"

I just added Showtime to our cable package. Are any of the series like 'Weeds' or 'Dexter' worth watching??

My new favorite video is to "Never Grow Old" by American Princes. So simple, it's brilliant. The song is not bad either.

When did Kerry Wood get back? I see he crapped the bed today.

Was it Alba that recently said she has casual sex with no strings attached and sees nothing wrong with it?

I'd get off at the Damen St. exit, then take Damen to 35th and 35th over.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 9, 2007 -> 05:19 PM) The liquid bottles cost so bloody much more than the solid ones... YES and I seem to blitz through it. Irish Spring bar soap after the gym, gets me the cleanest, but dries the hell otta my skin. Oil Of Olay for any other time. Doesn't seem to clean as deeply, but leaves a nice moistourizer on my skin. I don't like strong fragranced soap, it'll clashes with cologne.

QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 10, 2007 -> 08:11 AM) And why don't they have their own music....? lol. Fess up Santo, these aren't pros, they're two girl from Hooters that agreed to do it, right? Here's a few must haves: "White Wedding" Billy Idol "Baby got back" Sir Mix A Lot "Get your freak on" Missy Elliot If you know anyone who is big into hip-hop, I'm sure they can find some really nasty s*** for you. Have fun and don't let the girls touch you.

QUOTE(AirScott @ Aug 9, 2007 -> 09:49 AM) How about Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak? I think that really becomes the most heralded record now. Everybody mentions it every time someone hits in 30 or 35 straight. And football's records are less heralded because of the history. The record Bonds broke stood for 33 years. The record Aaron broke stood for almost 39 years. Now look at the NFL's all-time leaders in passing yards and touchdowns, and a lot of those quarterbacks played in the 1980s and 1990s. When Dan Marino passed for his 343rd touchdown, surpassing Fran Tarkenton's 342, it was 1995 and 19 years after Tarkenton had retired. Maybe the individual aspect of baseball carries some weight (somebody has to catch the balls Brett Favre and Dan Marino throw), but football doesn't have the same history baseball does. Baseball really hasn't changed since the 1920s, when the home run became a bigger part of the game. I would have said DiMaggio too. Even though it's one hell of a feat, it was done over a short period of time within one single season.

QUOTE(bmags @ Aug 9, 2007 -> 11:20 PM) I thought the raconteurs were pretty bad considering who was in the band. I deleted that album. i went to lolla on sat. b/c of free tickets. I only wanted to see daft punk (friday) but i saw rhymefest (bad compared to 1st time) the roots (bad compared to first time...what's with all the 10 min. bass solos), Yeah Yeah Yeahs (loved it) and Spoon (3rd time now...i love spoon but live they just don't do it for me). also i officially won't go ever buy tickets to lolla. You were there, you participated and you had a good time. Face it dude, you went to Lollapalooza.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Aug 7, 2007 -> 12:22 PM) The outdoor festivals are not my thing at all. Even stuff like Summerfest, which is mostly free bands, I try to avoid. If I only wanted to see two bands, they'd be playing at the same time on opposite ends of the field/lot/park/whatever. The last one I tried was the Warped Tour, when it happened at the United Center's parking lot. YIKES. All day, on blacktop, in July, in 90+ degree heat.......never again. Give me a dark, coldish dumpy club, two or three bands appearing on the same stage, a couple cold alcoholic beverages, and THAT's how I like(d) to see shows. I agree, huge stadium shows blow. Can't see, can't hear. What's the point?
