i just don't think alomar would bring much to this team.

bingo. i heard mark grace on the radio a few weeks ago and he said at the time that bautista and finley were the two most likely players to go. i can't imagine that the sox would want to bring back alomar after the circumstances he left under.

benson is overrated, imo. he's pitched well lately, although i could see him getting lit up in the al. he has a really hot wife, though.

i've read in a few places that ozzie's been talking up the tigers to the team. fwiw, they've played like crap since the all-star break, so hopefully that will continue.

i would not mind delgado, but i can't see it happening unless maggs is going to be out for any extended period of time.

i can't see any more big moves at this point. frankly i'm not sure the team needs any more big moves. of course this is somewhat dependent on maggs health, because if he's going to be out for any long period of time i think the sox will need to look to add another outfielder. don't really think i want the borchard experiment continuing through a pennant race.
