Depending on how creative you want to get you could include Robert, Jr. , Fedde and / or some relievers and make a super trade that neither fan base would be happy with. Names to consider to improve roster for next year and bring more talent in for the future. Dodgers have pieces that you could buy low on who are probably better than any of our AAA guys like Bobby Miller or Outman. Sox don't have many bonafide CF candidates. Dustin May keeps having medical setbacks. Just throwing names out there . I know everyone will want their best and brightest minor leaguers but there's so little talent in AAA and the majors ( on the Sox ) that if you can get injured or slumping guys with a lot of talent and plenty of years left at a discount maybe you can have a pretty good starting pitching staff next year and speed and defense in CF. I know super trades don't really happen but if your threw Colas in there with Crochet,Robert Jr and Kopech Would it be terrible to get back Pages, DePaula, Rushing, Lux ,Miller, May, Outman and more ? Just playing armchair GM .I don't really expect anyone to think getting hurt or slumping guys is a great idea. The Dodgers have plenty of talent but a lot of it isn't exactly at its peak right now. They're kind of like the Sox of the recent past in that major injuries are crippling them. But they won't sit on their asses and do nothing . There's a lot of smoke around a Sox Dodgers trade now. Draft picks as high as Senzel always have long leashes . When picking up cheap bad talent once in a while it works out like with McCann. He was the same age as Senzel. He had a slightly better career than Senzel but he was considered a bum too when the Sox got him. Rodon was a $3M bum for 2021. Rather take cheap fliers on under 30 bums than pay $5-$10M on mid 30s guys on the downward trajectory of their careers. I heard on Locked on White Sox who quoted Larson in an interview from someone else that he got a little over slot. Slot was $1.2 and he'll get around $1.4M.

There is a clear difference in his play over the past 10 days 2 weeks. Early on after he came back he wasn't hitting good but was hitting for power and taking walks and being cautious on the bases. Lately the hit tool has showed up , he's making diving catches, generally being his La Pantera persona defensively and stealing bases. If the Sox get really lucky before the deadline, BA, OBP, and Slg will all show up at once. We may not like it but coming back from another hip injury his progress is under a week by week microscope looking for any signs of permanent damage.

Re: Smith and Larson is a cutter typically a pitch taught at the MLB ? FB/slider seems to be dominant with those 2 guys. Sox seem to like teaching cutter,CU, curve. Just my general impression. Haven't dove into it.
