Very true. Good teams make for good memories. Crap teams, we may not forgot them, but not good memories. The Last Comiskey docu-series shows us that. Good teams even when they fall short are fun. As fans that's all we can hope for since we know winning World Series is extremely difficult.

Still need a lot to go right and that's one of them. They brought in a lot of arms so it should be a dogfight for some relief spots. But seems like they also got some arms that they can stash in Charlotte so if some go bad in season they might actually have some guys to replace them. Of course it's early but I like how the arms look so far.

Not necessarily. When Fraley hit that HR off Graveman according to Game day it was the 9th pitch and he hit it on a 3-2 count so if he had walked or K'd on the 9th pitch that wouldn't be a 3 or 4 pitch AB according to Game Day. But like I said I know Game Day is not that reliable in ST. Today its been sporadic sometimes listing each pitch but more recently and now all I'm getting is the result of the AB.

Don't know if i trust preseason Game Day on this but the Reds pitcher Williamson had an immaculate inning 3 k's on 9 pitches and according to Game Day Remillard and Anderson struck out looking at 3 pitches each.

Alberto starting at 2nd base after the big day yesterday. Vaughn batting 2nd has a hit. Romy in CF is new too this spring.

Every good hitter has a learning curve. He'll get better against sliders but its not like he sucked as a hitter. Still hit .270 111 OPS+ and a very nice jump vs his 2021. Most young RHH have to get better against sliders. All he has to do is keep progressing. 3rd year in the league is a great time to take it to another level. Up the power, up the OBP, up the OPS+ . He's where he belongs now. The stick is arriving. If you want the Sox at their best guys like him have to get better and the other guys with talent have to stay on the field. Your bench can't carry 2 guys who are basically 1st baseman. Sheets might make the team backing him up or he may not. It's great to have power on the bench but you lose a lot of speed and defensive ability when you do that.
