Carrot Cassarole Mashed Potatoes and Gravy Tryptophan sets in That's a terrible haiku. Ah, well.

I love the way Aaron plays the game. Hard worker with plenty of hustle. I wish him all the best for the rest of his career.

QUOTE(redandwhite @ Nov 20, 2005 -> 08:30 PM) my sandwhich: turkey breast, ham, roast beef, honey mustard, lettuce, tomato, carrotts, gardinara, jalapenos, banana peppers, cucumbers, green peppers, olive oil, vinegar, pepper on wheat. i always get looks because the sandwhich wont close, but its the only way to fill me up considering they put no meat on it. Eh?

I haven't been reading too much of the Thome stuff, so maybe I missed the discussion, but... What would the Indians do with Thome? They have Hafner and Broussard, and I know they are unhappy with Broussard, but Thome won't play first everyday, and Hafner is brutal defensively, I thought. Talk about a run-on sentence.

QUOTE(SnB @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 02:42 PM) Jimmy john's is only good if you're in champaign, the ones in the suburbs suck. And for subway, the only way to go is the italian BMT w/ extra vinegar and oil. When I was in Champaign once, I went to this place called Silver Mine Subs. It was decent.

I definitely thought it was the best movie. Two scenes that really got me: 1) The Death Eaters appearance at the Cup was absolutely terrifying. You get an instant KKK mental image, but even worse. That scene was amazing. 2) I liked the entrances of the other schools into the Great Hall. Durmstrang's was just cool, BeauxBatons' was funny. The only part where I saw anything not completely satisfactory was at the end, and even that was still fine. In the book, Voldemort came off very cold and calculating, with a little maniacal thrown in. Here, it would switch off--sometimes more sinister less maniacal and sometimes more maniacal less sinister, but usually the latter. He was TOO maniacal.

Hm, wait, I'm confused: Does this mean that it shows all the playoff games in their entirety, is it just season highlights, what?

Thank you to all those who have served.

QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Nov 11, 2005 -> 02:46 PM) they didnt lose it, they dropped it. That's not my point. The fact that they no longer have the ESPN name is going to hurt; it isn't just "Baseball Tonight theme music"--it's the brand and everything that comes with it. They are going to lose some sales because of it.

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Nov 11, 2005 -> 12:59 PM) I think alot of people are going to be suprised. Gamers, more importantly sports gamers, will buy a game if its quality, plain and simple. MVP has been the cream of the crop for baseball games for the last 3 years, sales and gameplay proves it. From what it sounds like, MVP 06 is going to far surpass a great game in MVP 05. I think alot of sports gamers are going to be excited for something new in the gaming world, a college baseball game. The demand is there, and I think people will be suprised how many copies are sold if the game lives up to the MVP name. I personally agree with you on the quality of game stuff, and I personally am going to get MVP NNCAA Baseball, but you have to remember all the casual fans out there. All the parents who are buying a baseball game for their kids are going to have no idea who the companies are, see one is major league baseball, and go with that. Although, didn't 2K lose their ESPN license? That's gonna hurt.

Two questions: What do you think BA will put as the top 10 prospects? Who would YOU put as your top 10 prospects.
-
Sweet. Northwestern's road to Omaha, here I come. And like Jas said, you can play more seaons because they are shorter.
-
The previews didn't interest me at all. I do remember Three Kings though...it was on TNT once kinda late...right before Enemy at the Gates (another real good movie).

Finish the year in Charlotte.

Have a great Birthday!

QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 07:14 PM) no GBS just came out to play and shoved it right down new triers throt. GBS will play stevenson tight it can go either way but GBS's star linebacker is out for the next game Two things: 1) According to the posts in this thread, New Trier won the first meeting between them. GBS won the second, and it was the one that counted. Apparently neither game was very close. So, taking these things into account, I don't think you can say one if definitively better than the other--you can just say GBS did better when it counted. 2) I normally don't do this, but it's really getting on my nerves. Please learn proper grammar/spelling. I'm honestly not trying to sound mean, it just makes your posts harder to read. -
well, you know what they say...those who can't do, teach. i would put that in green because im joking but i dont know how There you go. To make it green, put and then after put [/ color]. Except, don't put spaces where I did.
