Hope you're not flying Independence Air Friday.
The real question here is: What happens if a flight is delayed?

One smart cat
QUOTE(SnB @ Jan 2, 2006 -> 03:43 PM) so you're a communist? More or less. It's that little Fidel Castro in me trying to wiggle itself out.

One smart cat
QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jan 2, 2006 -> 03:23 PM) Cats are so much smarter than dogs. http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=1462424 Ah, but if the cat was so smart, who should have gone to some sort of first aid class, and thus would have known how to treat his owner on his own. For the record, I'm not a fan of cats or dogs.

Official College Football Thread
Was it just me, or at the end of that QB run by Marcus Vick (it was at the same time when they were interviewing Michael Vick), did he stomp on that defender's calf with spike?

Aussie Heat Wave 112 degrees
I'm trying to think of some joke involving DBAH0 and "on fire" or "hot", but it's just not coming to me. In other news, that's really freaking hot. I can't even stand the mid 90's. 75 and breezy is my favorite.

Florida teen tries "immersion journalism" in Iraq
I guess I agree with Tex: Very smart kid in that he was able to get there, get around, etc., very, very stupid in the common sense area.

Maurice Clarett accused of armed robbery
QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Jan 1, 2006 -> 05:51 PM) :headshake That makes a great deal of sense. Yes, lets group all individuals together because of the actions of one pathetic excuse for a human being. I didn't think he was grouping all tOSU grads together. I thought he meant that, if convicted, he could go to the Ohio State Penitentiary...sort of a play on words. I could be wrong, but that's what I got out of it.

Yeah, if you are playing the Xbox version and you don't have XBL, you can't get the updates.

Happy New Year
Happy New Year everyone! Be safe, and here's hoping that 2006 will bring home another championship to the South Side.

McCarthy
QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Dec 31, 2005 -> 02:41 AM) Off a website or what? If you have it on the computer, I assume so, but if you have the PS2 version you need a network adapter and an internet connection to connect online, or XBL if you have Xbox, and you can download updates from there.

Somewhere, Danman is crying. GBN managed to lose even though Scheyer was unbelievable, at least accoring to the Trib.

Ornaments
QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Dec 22, 2005 -> 03:52 PM) My wife, her sisters and her cousins (9 girls total)...every year...too much to drink...almost bring the damn tree down with that hunt!!! LOL!!! My family goes crazy over that as well. I have this really cool elf/joker ornament, with really long legs and stuff...kinda goofy, I guess, but I like it. Also, I have this santa one where you pull a string and its arms and legs go up. Again, goofy, but I love it. Those were also my two favorite ornaments as a kid, so there's also some sentimental value as well.

Tony Dungy's son dies in Florida
QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 22, 2005 -> 11:03 AM) According to his myspace, he was on atleast some sort of drugs, so Rock wasn't totally out of line. What that has to do with his suicide is another story. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendID=41899442 It's kind of sad to see his myspace and how people who commented this morning didn't know he was dead yet.
