Criteria For Choosing a College
I think reason #2 is why I would wait. You can still apply early in your senior year, which is when most people apply early. Also, for applying early there is Early Decision and Early Action. In general, if you apply Early Decision and get accepted, you are forced to enroll there (hence "binding). With Early Action, you apply early, but you can choose not to enroll if you want. At least, that's the way I always took it.

Criteria For Choosing a College
1st rule to being a good journalist: Don't trust one source. Also, are you using the 2006 one? I don't know if the 2007 edition is out yet, but the 2006 one has been out for quite a while.

Criteria For Choosing a College
Broadcast Journalism and no Missouri on the list? I heard they were cheap (for an out-of-state school, at least) AND had a good program. Just wondering.

Criteria For Choosing a College
Isn't South Dakota State the one that made out-of-state tuition cheaper than our in-state tuition, to draw more Illinoisans?

Best Presidents
QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Feb 12, 2006 -> 01:30 PM) He's a close 2nd to my favorite (Harrison -- didn't do a damn thing to hurt the country) Hard to screw up when you're president for about a month. In other news, McKinley was dead from 1901-1905. He was President from 1896-1901.

Favorite Slogan
What's your favorite slogan that you've actually seen somewhere? The best are usually the funny, witty, or clever ones. Mine is definitely: "Jim's Septic Service: We're #1 in the #2 business!"

Favorite Old School Nickelodeon Show
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 02:19 PM) Alex Mack - she was sooo hot Agreed. Larisa Oleynik was very good in everything she did. Last thing I saw her in was "100 Girls" (anyone ever see that?), which came out in 2000, I think. I wonder where she's been.

Ah, I forgot Wild and Crazy Kids and Hey Arnold, though I wouldn't classify Hey Arnold as old.

Is he or isn't he?????
There's a fine line between "Hard Hitting Journalism" and "Overstepping Boundaries", and he went over it, IMO.
