I like the NCAA's way of doing things.

The Rally Crede
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 11:02 PM) So seriously...who has tickets tomorow...and can we get a Rally Crede in the park? I am, but I dunno if I'll have time to make one. Reddy said he's making one though.

The Rally Crede
That's it, we're never losing these things! So special it deserved its own thread.

It was a great game
Yes, I was quite happy with the way the fought back after looking kinda dead. Dissapointing that they couldn't hold on though. Ah well, we can still win the next two, and have gained a game through the series.

Sox are officially cooked
QUOTE(wallyburger @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 06:53 AM) " Garcia, with one win in his last nine starts, lasted 6 1-3 innings, giving up seven hits and four runs." That is a waste of money for the next 5 years. You mean 2 years?

Cleveland @ Chicago 7:05
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 10:40 PM) Think realistically....what implications did you get that this team will make the playoffs? 1) They currently have a lead on the division (and a larger one on the WC) 2) The next two matchups favor the Sox 3) Cleveland will not be as hot the rest of the season as they are now 4) The records work out nicely on how many we would have to win and the Indians have to lose (not sure on the exact numbers) Do I really need to keep going?

Cleveland @ Chicago 7:05
QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 10:38 PM) who would have thought no playoffs for this team. Do you have an eight ball? When were the Sox mathematically eliminated?

Cleveland @ Chicago 7:05
The walks did us in. Ah well, the next two matchups favor us.

Cleveland @ Chicago 7:05
QUOTE(rudylaw @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 10:23 PM) Its over Has the last out of the 9th been recorded yet? No, it has not. Am I saying it is likely they will come back? Not at all. I'm simply saying that until the 3 outs are recorded, it's not over.

What Sox Prospects would u like to see next year?
What's there to calm down about? You said you wanted Anderson in for Dye, I was simply stating that Dye is signed for another year. I'd like to see Anderson here too, but he'll only be here if Dye moves to first or is traded.

Twinkies in the Cross Hairs
See, I like the Red Sox. Dunno why, I just do. The only teams I really don't like are the Twins, Indians (stemming from the fact that they owned the Central in the mid 90s), and Yankees. That's about it.

Carl Everett
QUOTE(SoxPhan7 @ Sep 18, 2005 -> 10:01 AM) Speaking of carl everett, does anyone else think it is really funny that his favorite catroon ever is the Flintstones? THey had it in last week's online newsletter. Oh and i agree he needs a break from the line up. He is brutal! That's impossible, there are dinosaurs in Flintstones.

Around the Minors
I still wanted Suzuki on draft day instead of Lucy, but what can you do.

Torii Hunter Thinks He'll Be Traded
No way we'd wind up with Hunter, but I wonder what it would take to get him. Valido would probably be part of it, dunno who else.

Tribe / Sox Series
Good to see a fan from another team not acting like an idiot. Welcome. And yes, it should be a very good series.

What Sox Prospects would u like to see next year?
Dye is under contract for another season.

Anyone proficient in 1337?
I used to be really good at 1337, but I've lost my touch.

Back to the 1940s - Sox vs Twinkies 9-17
Ah, I see. Thanks. Listening to John and Ed will be fun though, even though there will be no visual.

Ryan Howard Article
I brought this guys name up at the end of last season, and I think the response was maybe, but not for what it would take. Oh, and that there was no spot on the roster. And oh, Contreras for Howard? Hmm. Depends how much of the contract they would take. I'd rather deal less for Overbay (or the same amount, since he's proven himself fairly well, whereas Howard could go into a sophomore slump).

Anyone know WHY it's only on radio today?
