  1. People with back issues. I think we can make a thread devoted just to that issue for the Sox
  2. I am not understanding some of the rationale going on. Beckham is our secondbaseman. Gillaspie or Keppinger were going to play third. Conor seems to be doing pretty goood. I believe the original idea was that Kepp was the super-sub? Right now with injuries people are playing out of position or in roles not originally planned. Greene probably goes down or Danks or even Wells possibly. Of course Danks and Wells may be a decision once Viciedo is back
  3. AJ was a White Sox and I loved the guy. He played hard and he played to win and he backed his teammates. I didn't get to see any replays of that incident with Reed but would have loved to have seen the back and forth and PK laughing.
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 1, 2013 -> 03:56 PM) No one I bow to your vast knowledge I sas just thinking about the issue and realized I had asked too quick
  5. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 1, 2013 -> 12:22 AM) Scott Merkin ‏@scottmerkin 1h Beckham hopes to take flips next week in New York after getting his stitches out today. Tell him not to take flips! I want him back and if he breaks his hip or something we are really screwed
  6. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 1, 2013 -> 01:44 AM) Last update said Hed be ready today Who goes down? Greene?
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ May 1, 2013 -> 02:10 AM) WISE! MVP of the game is Jordan Danks' knee. I guess we can wait afew games before dumping Wise huh?!
  8. Who is your pick to click today? Do it here
  9. This is your place to shine. Take your best shot
  10. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 29, 2013 -> 01:54 AM) So who was that pitching in the Chris Sale jersey? Please I beseech you not to forget that John Danks was considered heir to the crown of ACE. Sale is there and I would not rule out Peavy. Get Danks back healthy and we are looking good 1-2-3 and several other real good ones fitting in at 4-5 and even 6.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 29, 2013 -> 12:44 AM) [ignoring that the team has six players on the DL, and a couple of more players hurting right now, of course] Two regulars out of action and your ace out from the start. Now another starter out. Bad luck but this team can't possibly play this bad all year long. I have confidence they will get it turned around. Season is young and we are only a few games out. When you don't get runners on and otherwise hit then every mistake is magnified
  12. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 28, 2013 -> 03:59 AM) I think it's pretty obvious Gavin's ship has sailed. His career stats are mighty blah and now he's getting brittle. Jon Garland in his prime was way better than Gavin Floyd. Would you all agree he's a No. 5 starter now? Maybe a 4? He is through in your opinion because of a muscle injury? What was your take on Peavy? Konerko? This is a bump in the road is all
  13. I think our hitting woes are all caused by the weather. At least that is wehat everyone says - wait for it to warm up. I will get back to you on that
  14. I feel good everytime Jake takes the mound
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 26, 2013 -> 01:19 AM) Really Sale? Lobaton is one of the weaker hitters in baseball. 5 homers in 30 innings for Sale. I was going to ask how many home runs he has allowed. If you don't throw that 95-98 MPH fastball eventually these hitters are going to catch you at 91
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 25, 2013 -> 05:12 PM) WAKE UP BATS. Yes please! We need some hits from some people
  17. Rios is really the real deal. I liked Dunn's approach with 3 BB's today. If he can get back to somewhat of normalcy, for him anyway, we miht be seeing Dunn ready to break out. Good job by the pitching and Alexei with good leather. We win and that's good
