  1. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 8, 2010 -> 03:17 AM) Feels like we've run into 10 outs this week. Yep that running game has been slipping for sure ths week, but we still seem to get er done
  2. Hudson has done real good with Arizona. Two very well pitched games in a row
  3. Inexpereinced youth. I didn't get a chance to watch him pitch, but a walk and a hit to your first two batters isn't what the Sox or the kid wanted to see I am sure. Hopefully, he shows us in his next start why he is up with the big boys so quick
  4. Nobody likes to lose, but you can't win 162 games. The offense didn't click and maybe we left a relief pitcher in a bit longer than he should have been there, but it is what it is and we just need to come back and win Saturday, which by the way is on WGN amd I'll be watching
  5. QUOTE (BearingPro @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 03:38 AM) Very disappointing...but that's why Williams tried to get Adam Dunn...to prevent nights like this. How ironic that Jim Thome had a key hit in the ninth for the Twins. Kotsay is turning the corner now
  6. QUOTE (knightni @ Aug 6, 2010 -> 10:59 AM) Rios has been scuffling lately. I think that teams are figuring out ways to get him out. Low and outside usually does it. Yep! And that was what ws getting Alexei too but it appears he is making adjustments and laying off that pitch
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 5, 2010 -> 10:04 PM) Please keep in mind, the BS against the Twins went to Santos even though Jenks took the loss. The blown save was disheartening, but we won
  8. Well now we have to be so competitive as to give them Tigers a chance?
  9. Bobby is showing his competitive side for sure. Like how he came back to K Inge
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 5, 2010 -> 07:29 PM) First HR for Kotsay since June 8. But, he has hit the ball hard with no luck so maybe he will snap out of it now
  11. Game day froze up on me. How did they get out of that inning without giving up a run?
  12. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Aug 5, 2010 -> 07:07 PM) Based on his picture, I think Phil Coke does coke. I would feel better if we could have smacked him around a bit there in the there 8th inning
  13. Yes, but he has experience and is a good base runner/stealer so he can still compete with the best of them.
  14. Let him get Kotsay on track and then he will be like Walt Hriniak
  15. Ozzie uses Kotsay becasue he must see something in putting him out there. He does lose a lot of line drives casue they are hit right at people. If he couldn't perfomr he wouldn't be in the line up. Let's support Kotsay until he is gone. Let him feel the Soxtalk love please as it might help him
  16. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 4, 2010 -> 08:42 PM) He likes his pitchers just as he likes his women Luke Warm and Rancid?
  17. We should be trying to sign this guy for a couple more years just like AJ Perzynski. It amazed me how much grief this guy took from some posters demanding his being traded and a sub par 1Bman
