If Paulie can get into one and get on a hot streak that might bring Everett and Dye along with him. Zito is one good pitcher but why do they always excel against the Sox? The guy had an ERA of 7 for crying out loud.

Jon Garland on the other hand has been one super stud and those of us that pulled for him in past years should feel good. The guy has tons of talent and is showing it this year.

We haven't done well with runners in scoring position in a number of games this year. We have sucked when we had runners in scoring position and less than 2 out and with 2 out like Iguchi. I have mixed feeling about Tadpole. I hope he adjusts to MLB pitching soon.

This is by far the best start any Sox team has had plus our history is to play hard the second half. Add two good halves together and we're there dudes! We need Frank Thomas to win this thing this year. We also need him for the future. I see Frank with 4 to 6 good years left and I hope it's in a Sox uniform. Reading stories from these columnists don't give you anything but pure speculation. I see Frank back before the all-star break and maybe as an every other day DH'er to start off and doing PH duty when not in the daily line up. That's why it's good we have Everett. After the all-star break he will be in there full-time. Bank on it!

The way these guys are showing their ability to rally, come up with big plays, great pitching, etc, is how you win pennants. I don't think they are even hitting on all cylinders yet either.

The Dookie does good, but 45 pitches through 2 innings is a lot. I hope he starts conserving soon.

WOW! That is all I can say. Marte showed something in this game and I hoe it now carries over through other games. He was struggling, but the guy came through big time.

Any word on Contreras and his injury. I saw it listed as a hammie? I wonder if that means DL time?
