When is this question and answer session? I have been thinking about attending soxfest but at this point I WILL NOT FORK OVER ANOTHER DIME FOR THAT f***ING ASSHOLE REINSDORF!! I really don't want to give him the pleasure of getting my dollar for this event. The only way i am going to soxfest is if my friend comes through with some comp passess other wise you can forget it! If i go i want to make sure i am there for this question session becuase i have a question i want to ask, so how does this work. I won't say what my question is because i don't want to spoil the surprise for everyone that is going to be there, don't worry you will know when my question is asked.

The hold up i can see is if Boston wants to part with Nixon. The people in boston love him. Bos want to dump damon and well we can't afford him at his price. so maybe we can get damon and bos will pay for some of his 8.0 mil salary this year and then we will have to pay his 8.5 mil next year because we will have alot of money supposedly to work with.

I don;'t know who he is, but i read all his posts at wsi and when he first reported nomar for maggs with the arod deal about 3 weeks before it was reported we all thought he was crazy. Other then that i don;t know who he is or where he came from.

Does the White Sox hold any winter workouts or mini camps? I have never heard of us doing that. I see that seattle holds minicamps and the dodgers have winter workouts etc. Why don;'t we? It would be nice to have the team together at least twice during the offseason to work with one another and get a feeling for each other etc. Somthings about this organization and the way it is ran, i will never understand.

Hey I know we can't afford Damon's salary but I would love him here! He is an awsome centerfielder/leadoff hitter I say just screw it and go out and take him. Then if we drasticlly need to dump payroll just give konerko away to anyone even for the littlest prospects. Becaue getting williamson, nomar, and Damon fill 3 BIG holes for us! of course i would live with nixson also, but Damon is signed beyond this year 8.0 mil this year and 8.6 next year i think. WE should have alot of money next year so lets take a hurt in the payroll this year so it will benefit next year. Rowand is not the answer!

I am assuming that you have the new trade rumor that started at WSI. Well let me just tell you the guy that has posted it has posted very credible info in the past regarding maggs and nomar deal. OTis was the first person to come on there and announced that trade way before the news and internets sites had heard about the possible trade with maggs for nomar if arod went down. No one believed him and they thought he was just starting rumors. He claims to know someone in the boston organization that is high up, but he will not name his source which is understandable. This is why i believe there is talks going on. But hey if nothing happens i still will have faith in otis. I hope this deal happens, then hopefully we can dump konerko for a starter.

Hey BAGGIO! Great to see you here posting! I took some time off myself from posting also but i came back a few months ago. I asked about you when i first came back and some of the people replied like i was crazy, they had no idea who you were. Well its great to have you here, what are your thoughts on this offseason for the sox? Pretty crappy huh?

I hope so. I would love to see ponson here, we would have a real good rotation with him. But as usual Jerry says he cost too much money and we have to wait for the price to come down, which when it does come down, everyone and their mother will be trying to get him. I say lets go on the limb here and give him 3yr 21 mil. Lets take a shot at him, i believe he can win 18-20 games every year with a era in the 3's.

I just was saying the same thing in my other post on the signing of cliff. We have a chance to have one of the best bullpens in the central if we can all stay healthy and pitch up to potential. With minnesota losing eddie and latroy they really dont have anyone. Kc has sullivan and he is good but that is it. Macdougal was a one year wonder.

Hopefully this will work out. If he can regain his form and stay healthy and I have a feeling he will. Koch in my opinion will return to pitching like he did in oakland. The sox will have a pretty good bullpen, and hopefully santiago can continue to pitch like he did in cleveland, we should be ok. Heck Gordon had some shoulder problems and he returned from a bad season also. hopefully the same will happen this year.

Well i think are dreams of ponson coming to us are pretty dim right now. Baltimore and ponsons agent are having discussions are both interested in one another. That would be nice if we can do them moves and that jr would accept the payroll being over his budget. ...........You know it is a damn shame that we have to speculate and dream up moves that are team should do, knowing damn well that they will not happen. All because that asshole Reinsdick will not spend money or won;t sell the team. Jr doesn't give a rats ass about us the fans or baseball in general all's he cares about his filling his pockets. I just heard it also about 10 mi ago. Good i hope this deal will go through, this will free up payroll not only for ponson but we will hopefully get some real good prospects and also we will have ponson for my guess 3 years, and have konerko and his 9 mil salary off the books for next year. The sox should have about 20 mil to spend next offseason if they don;t keep maggs and valentin. which they should lock up elo in the middle of the season if he is ass good as last year. Next years free agent outlook is supposed to be good. I just hope this works out for us.

Millwood is supposed to be accepting arbitration from philly. I wish we had that luck with colon. With millwood accepting arb. the phillies are going to be awsome in the national league one of the best there. They did alot of aquasititons this winter so far revamped there whole bullpen and i think they got a starting pitcher also.

Well, from what i am getting this is the latest news on the deal. It comes from roto world : ROTO WORLD---- Red Sox president Larry Lucchino said today that the A-Rod deal is dead, although the Rangers and Peter Gammons seem to disagree. Gammons is saying that the deal is going to get done this weekend, and the Rangers just had a press conference saying that the trade remains a possibility. According to Gammons, Lucchino has been pushed out of the talks, with owners Tom Werner and Tom Hicks directly negotiating right now. -----------We will just have to wait and see what goes on I personally don;t think this deal is dead. but i think the sox should start to worry about holes to fill at the moment such as starting pitchers that are going to be non-tendered such as garcia, armas etc. Lets get ponson while all this is going on!
