  13. I know you might think its funny see someone hurt but comeon if you true baseball fan you should show some sort of compassion to anyone that gets hurt.
  14. Winnin ugly post the article if you seen it. If we cant find and your one saying it then why dont you post it.
  15. I don't even want to hear the excuses here of why us fans are not going to games. I been 5 games already this season and went to about 50 in 2000. You wanna know people's perspective from 2000 till now is nothing has changed at all. I even remember reading an article in espn magazine telling us fans go cheer them on and yeah guess what the same type of crowd attendance at last night's game was the same througout the 2000 season. I don't care if you don't like Kruk or not but time realize that fans never go to our stadium and fill it up. I been very disappointed with fan attendance for along time and ever since the strike our fans have left and never came back. We need realize that this team is playing good baseball and making history as well. Go out and support them for the credit they deserve on the field. Also, april mid 70's weather which yeah was great out I still saw 12,000 going to game and no their was no excuse there. Go out and support because I know I am going too and giving them all the credit they deserve.
  16. Volume business: White Sox athletic trainer Herm Schneider delivered a seemingly positive update prior to Monday's series opener in Oakland, in regards to the myriad weekend maladies afflicting the South Siders. Schneider worked on ball drills with starting pitcher Jose Contreras in the clubhouse, flipping an oddly shaped device to the left and right of the big right-hander, testing Contreras' agility to all sides, as he tried to grab it. Contreras appears on track to make Friday's home start against Detroit, after leaving Saturday's game in Kansas City early when he suffered a strained lower right hamstring. Contreras still needs to throw on the side Tuesday, according to Guillen, before being completely cleared. If Contreras can't make the start, the White Sox could push the rotation up one day because of off-days on Thursday and Monday. Orlando 'El Duque' Hernandez would get the start Friday. If Contreras were placed on the disabled list, then Brandon McCarthy would get the call from Triple-A Charlotte. McCarthy increased his International League-leading strikeout total to 29 by fanning eight over six innings on Sunday, as he picked up his first victory. Pierzynski and reliever Dustin Hermanson both were available Monday night. Pierzynski was hit by a pitch in his right foot Saturday night, leading to a sore toe, while Hermanson had been sidelined by muscle spasms in his back.
  17. Just saw this in Chicago Tribune: Cleveland altered its rotation so Scott Elarton will start Thursday instead of Jake Westbrook. Elarton pitched a two-hit shutout against the Sox on Aug. 29 of last season, facing just 29 batters in a 9-0 win. ...
