  1. Not sure why you feel you need to answer questions directed to others, but his post suggests exactly the opposite of what you said. He seems to think getting both is possible.
  2. Do you have some insider info? Seems like you've made a few subtle comments like this.
  3. I was looking at the board upside down, thinking it was from your perspective.
  4. So tempting to promote, but Ke5 might be the best move.
  5. I know it's all relative, but how did you get so good? Did you play in high school/college? Have some kind of tutor? Just read a lot of books?
  6. Really? Where did he do that? Question for Mods: That is true, will there be consequences? Joe has been on this board long enough to know better. If that shit is allowed there will just encourage more people trolling posting fake info.
  7. I am around 1130 Blitz on chess.com. Have gotten as high as 1272, but that was mostly a lucky streak.
  8. Maybe he's in the Mystery City.
  9. Was it a kid or some douchebag who had been heckling him all game? I think something like that is situational.
  10. In 10 seasons with the White Sox, Mike Squires had more than 200 AB in three seasons and over 300 AB once. In two of those seasons, he had fewer than 5 AB. Not sure that qualifies as "everyday".
  11. Both, or one of them?
  12. Did your guy say anything about him playing 3B vs. SS?
  13. I don't blame him for hearing the other offers, but not for the agent's benefit. The agent works for Manny.
  14. Leonard Zelig replied to Kyyle23's topic in SLaM
It will probably clear up, but the color shouldn't change much. Are you using extract?
  15. I don't believe that "everyone" thinks that. There are a lot of articles stating that we are in, but nothing I've read actually predicts us to get either.
  16. Not sure what you mean by this. According to Wikipedia, baseball offseason meetings began in 1876 and became an annual thing in 1901. The owners, execs, etc. are meeting to conduct business. The media has turned them into a spectacle, but they would still take place if there was no media coverage.
  17. I could be wrong, but I don't think the winter meetings are meant to entertain people.
  18. Can somebody summarize this thread for me in haiku form?
  19. I think the Sox traded for Jim Thome a day or two before Thanksgiving in 2005.
  20. Then find the original thread and let people see what he actually said instead.
  21. Yeah, I don't know what is accurate, or which thread, but someone posted a report that he is there or will be there this weekend.
  22. Bulls have a home game Saturday, that's more likely, I think.
  23. Yes, but I feel like usually the top tier guys are signed first which kind of sets the market for the lower tier guys. So I don't know whether to believe 2 teams that are supposed big players in Harper and/or Machado are making offers to other guys before they are signed.
