You honestly couldn't have two nicer, more down to earth guys represent our club for the past 10 years in Buehrle and Konerko. Two of the truly nice guys in sports. It makes it even easier and more enjoyable to be a Sox fan and root for these guys. PAULIE!

Since there is a love of JD love being thrown around in this thread (and rightfully so) i'll ask the age old question. Do the Sox really let this guy walk next year?? I hope not.

Beckham wont win ROY unless he has a monster second half. I am more concerned with seeing improvement with him for the rest of the season and staying healthy.

They need to be within a few games of .500 for sure. I think they need a winning record from here on out. Tough week ahead with the Dodgers and the suddenly hot Cubs coming in. SHould be a big week for the Sox.

Also lost in this horrible collapse was that our two young pitchers came into a hostile environment, lots of pressure and emotion and pitched their asses off.
