  1. QUOTE(marsh @ May 9, 2005 -> 04:05 PM) Both Contreras and El Duque better keep Crawford off base this series 'cause neither one can hold a runner on. dont forget sanchez and lugo
  2. i like the d-rays and how they play, not many balls are going to get past their team in the outfield, they are a quick team, we however should slaughter their pitching and put pressure on their defense
  3. maybe instead of uhhhhh-ohhhhh he means ohhhh yeahhhhh thats my interpretation of it
  4. QUOTE(DetroitWhat @ Apr 17, 2005 -> 02:53 PM) Boras is evil. right you are
  5. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ May 6, 2005 -> 09:18 PM) you know for all of Timo's "clutchness" from last year he has been extremely bad in clutch situations this year besides that one bases loaded bunt. yes, timo is definitely a better starter this year

  7. QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:23 AM) Priceless... "Chicago Cubs pitcher LaTroy Hawkins, left, stands alone just off the pitchers mound as the Philadelphia Phillies' David Bell, right, rounds third and heads for home for what would be the winning run during the ninth inning Friday, May 6, 2005, in Chicago. The Phillies' Bell and Jason Michaels scored when Hawkins made a throwing error with the bases loaded giving the Phillies a 3-2 victory. those are the cubs that i recognze

  10. good to see that he is starting to hit, bad to see that when id dont put him in my fantasy lineup he starts hitting, the irony
  11. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ May 7, 2005 -> 02:05 PM) A sweep would sure be sweet. any win would sure be sweet
  12. all i have to say is we ended strong and gave the wizards a run, and congratulations baby bulls for facing the negative attitudes of reporters and winning and making it to the playoffs heres to the bulls
  13. shaq improved an already good team, nash helped a team who could hardly win last year and when he was in the lineup they won, he changes the face of a team therefore more deserving of an mvp
  14. i love freddie mitchell, especially when he said "i thank my hands for being so great" or something like that
  15. thats easy tadahito iguchi, not to be rude but who was the dumbass who picked widger, he hardly plays, come on, although pierzynski has really brought along our pitching staff
  16. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 6, 2005 -> 01:37 PM) That's just part of the oath that all Chicago baseball writers have to swear by before they're given jobs. theirs no oath
  17. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ May 6, 2005 -> 03:00 PM) Well it's also ironic that we are inviting other teams' fans to our board, but then bashing their team in the title of a game thread for no particular reason. yes what happened to the visitors clubhouse
  18. QUOTE(Pale Hose Jon @ May 6, 2005 -> 09:57 AM) I don' even think he will be drafted at this point. He needs more work. more work he helped bring the team back in games they were down
  19. QUOTE(rangercal @ May 6, 2005 -> 02:47 PM) from yahoo fantasy baseball LOL!! Views: Make sure Lee is in your lineup whenever he plays the Cubs. In six games this season, he has picked up eight hits and driven in five runs. haha thats great, stupid cubs
  20. QUOTE(El Piervizdyeguchansodnik @ May 4, 2005 -> 08:30 PM) John Rocker is awesome. yes he is
  21. i think thats an easy choice, drop belliard, castillo gets you steals and average and runs, pick up womack, hes batting in the second spot now where he is able to produce more and has hit better the last ten games, him or grudz, dont know how you plan on getting julio though
  22. QUOTE(bmags @ May 5, 2005 -> 09:14 PM) we are getting attention...but for a while it seemed like they were forced to talk about it...i think my least favorite comment was one that said : "the white sox have led in 26 consecutive games...of course that leads us to say how come they haven't won every one" they cover us...but they always threw in shots that they thought this was temporary...and maybe it is...but they sure do love talkin bout the orioles. i guess in a way you should ask why they havent won them all, in my opinion if your leading in a game you shouldnt blow the lead
  23. QUOTE(Be Good @ May 5, 2005 -> 07:05 PM) 2005 Sox: Just Keep Winning Jeez our starting pitchy has been ridiculously good. yeah, with exception of viacaino who will eventually start rolling
