  1. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 22, 2005 -> 08:51 PM) Sheyer isn't even that good. My friend played against him and his team beat Sheyer's team, he said he was overrated. Don't be too disappointed Illini fans, he will be a bust at Duke. thats just what you want to believe, hes going to a team where they are good at developing players and they scouted out some good ones
  2. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 22, 2005 -> 08:43 PM) They would deal him because? they wouldnt but it would be nice
  3. royals seem to always lack the talent to make it to the playoffs, they need george brett back
  4. LIST OF WHO ID WANT: Eric chavez would be a real nice grab (wont happen however) Shawn Chacon, he could help our bullpen (deal viacaino) Miguel Batista, wont happen but hes good Mike Gonzalez, going to be a good guy in the bullpen Andy Sisco, tall good left hander
  5. sucks for those who paid the money to see brewster take on that washed up guy
  6. Heres the deal my pitching staff is kind of falling apart lately and i could use some advice on who to drop and who to deal. PITCHERS: Pos Pitchers Edit Opp Status IP W SV K ERA WHIP SP J. 7. viacaino needs to be talked with, that or moved down to triple aaa for a couple of games
  8. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 22, 2005 -> 08:21 PM) Which is why it was tied with around 5 minutes left? still, im shocked they beat them, they pulled away at the end
  9. QUOTE(3E8 @ May 22, 2005 -> 07:47 PM) One old cubs fan I had the displeasure of sitting next to was giving me s*** for basically the entire game on Saturday. When we finally went ahead late in the game, I really let him have it. He then had to change seats with someone else in his party because he was trying to resist the urge to fight me. must have felt good, cant wait till i give it to everyone at school about how we beat the cubs
  10. hawk, he has a lot of energy in the booth
  11. QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 22, 2005 -> 11:22 AM) Well, in 3 career at bats versus Prior, Rowand is 0 for 3 with a strikeout. It's a small sample size but maybe that's the reason. i guess its not a bad move, now we can fit in carl and dye who seem to be hitting quite well of late
  12. QUOTE(Yoda @ May 22, 2005 -> 10:48 AM) Pierre has a .263 AVG right now. That’s the lowest batting average I’ve seen him have. I’m not saying he’ll keep it that way the rest of the season, but I much rather have PODS right now. id rather have pods also
  13. QUOTE(Southside hitmen @ May 22, 2005 -> 10:25 AM) It looks like we might start the game with a rain delay... that would be nice for me, im stuck at work, maybe get dealyed to 5ish if not oh well
  14. prior and santana are sort of similar in the fact that you need to get to them early, i like the point brought up about diazs start against the cubs, mccarthy should do better, and if not he will redeem himself for all we know the game is rained out and we get the sweep by default
  15. on the topic of liking teams: Rockies: young team, barmes is amazing and they are a good hitting team and if the pitching works they will be amazing mariners: like them since they had griffey, now they need is pitching and their hitting to click and they will be special (also going to a game baltimore at seattle) reds: ryan freel is incredible and they have a dangerous lineup, if only they had pitching
  16. im too lazy to mow the lawn so i make my brother do it
  17. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 21, 2005 -> 09:08 PM) Thanks for sharing, I'm sure everyone cares... i know waste of a post
  18. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 21, 2005 -> 11:51 PM) If I'm not mistaken, we have reached a season high by being 19 GAMES OVER .500 for the first time this year. And it's still May! possibly 20
  19. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 21, 2005 -> 10:03 PM) Actaully, I could see Hendry making a big push to get Gange at the deadline, just to get the fans excied again. if the dodgers are still doing good that wont happen
  20. still dont have the game and dont plan on getting it
  21. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 21, 2005 -> 08:51 PM) Man, I can't even count the amount of times my dad has done the same thing to me. Anyways, it's going to be pretty exciting to see Brandon make his debut. If there is anyone who seems like he could be successful during his first start it's bmac, he just seems to have a great head on his shoulders, hopefully he does what we all know he can do and help us sweep the flubs. yeah i remember when everyone was pumped for diaz and munoz and they turned out to be not so good, but bmac is gonna be different
  22. QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 21, 2005 -> 08:38 PM) Both the Brewers and the Cardinals need just 3 outs to win. Wow, Doug Davis going for the complete game shutout. Nick Punto with a leadoff single. Lew Ford grounds out on the first pitch he sees. Morneau flies out. 1 more out. Torii grounds out. TWINS LOSE!!! 6-GAME LEAD!
