  1. Goldy kalapse and blacksox all in the national league, thats just plain unfair, one of them should be in the AL.
  2. meh, i just dont like the beigh, but solid
  3. QUOTE(chiguy79 @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 03:21 PM) If I lived in or had anything to do with Cleveland I would throw up. if you were born there you wouldnt be saying that
  4. Heres a team I got for a money league Im in: I missed the draft but I was able to acquire figgins alou and ordonez C Ramon Hernandez 1B Albert Pujols 2B Chone Figgins SS Derek Jeter 3B Morgan Ensberg OF Gary Sheffield OF Ichiro Suzuki OF Johnny Damon Util Magglio Ordonez BN Torii Hunter BN Moises Alou SP Jon Garland SP John Lackey RP Huston Street RP Trevor Hoffman P Chris Reitsma P Aaron Heilmann (really like this guy seems like the big sleeper this yr) P Scott Shields BN Danny Haren BN Joe Blanton BN Brad Penny BN Paul Byrd I like my hitting alot, alou should put up higher numbers this year and maggs should easily put up 100 rbis and at least 20 hrs, i have a solid bench to back up my speedy outfield. My pitching is what im worrying about I got heilmann through free agency i really think hes gonna be a stud this year. I made sure I had alot or relievers so they could help get my era down. I have one empty spot that im saving.
  5. good deal for the texans, johnson didnt do so hot last year and moulds is a solid second option
  6. I suggest adding aaron heilman to your roster, hes a solid pitcher for the mets that most leagues hes still in free agency, last season after break he threw for a .96 era after break, solid starter/reliever that could help your team
  7. QUOTE(Mplssoxfan @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 02:23 PM) Looks like I spoke too soon. Pretty sweet
  8. QUOTE(SuperSteve @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 02:18 AM) The Reds one had me laughing the most. same

  10. QUOTE(iWiN4PreP @ Mar 27, 2006 -> 11:01 PM) Heres a pic i found of the banner f***ing sweet i dont see it
  11. QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Mar 26, 2006 -> 10:39 PM) In my bracket group there was a 3-way tie for the winner, and i was one of them. so i at least don't lose any money. hmm usually when im in a pool ties dont happen, they make u choose a total score for the last game but n ot my pool
  12. You have a pretty solid team, definitely stand pat wait to see how your team does first week then decide.
  13. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Mar 27, 2006 -> 12:03 AM) Count me on. My brackets are in disarray, so I really gave two s***s who won today. But now, I'm with George Mason all the way. that rhymes damn right im on this train
  14. QUOTE(mmmmmbeeer @ Mar 24, 2006 -> 08:47 AM) But whatcha think.... 10 team 6x6 (OBP on offense, holds on pitching) C--J. Willingham 1b-- T. Helton 2B -- F. Lopez 3b -- D. Wright SS -- J. Reyes OF -- C. Crawford OF -- C. Crisp OF -- A. Dunn UTL -- J. Thome BN -- M. Mora BN -- B. Clark SP -- R. Harden SP -- J Contreras RP -- D. Turnbow RP -- E. Guardado P -- S. Shields P -- S. Linebrink P -- F. Cabrera BN -- F. Liriano BN -- K. Escobar BN -- C. Young Inaugural year of a money keeper league. Everyone available to keep except for Helton, Lopez, Wright, Reyes, and Crawford. Needless to say, I've pretty much got steals locked up. You do have steals locked up and shields gets alot of holds same with linebrink. I dont know about your catcher willingham thats a bit risky but ive never heard of him so cant say much. You have a young staff, cabrera was a good sleeper pick if they produce you could have a solid rotation.
  15. All I have to say is whats the best way to just get rid of your bracket, its just that bad.
  16. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 21, 2006 -> 07:02 PM) So, now that the inaugural event has passed, what do you see that can or needs to be improved? I've compiled a short list: 1. Switch around the brackets a little. The first rounds were fine, however, I would change the 2nd and championship round up. I'd take the 1st place teams from Pool A and D with the 2nd place teams from B and C. And then opposite for the opposite pool. For the championship, I would again switch it up. I'd have the first place team from pool 1 play the 2nd place team from pool 2. This avoids teams having to play each other two or three times in the tournament and makes for some more interesting baseball. 2. Change the pitch-count rules. They either need to be abolished or raised significantly. 3. Play some more games out of the country. This was clearly more cared about internationally, yet almost all the games were in the US. 4. Although I don't think it is needed as much as people say, a change of time-frame would not be hurt. 5. Play it next year. I know this idea is kind of out-there, but it can't hurt. The plans right now are every three years and eventually go every four. However, I would still like to see one next year. It took a while for evryone in the world to realize what was going on, so interest didn't really pick up until late in the tournament. By next year, MLB can work all the kinks out and make this a huge success. Then the 4 year plan can come into effect. Those are excellent ideas and I agree with all of them
  17. The one on the right is better than the left
  18. Blue Jays should be alot higher on that list I mean Burnett, Ryan Overbay and Glaus if Im correct
  19. I like this trade for Boston, if Wily Mo plays he could be a huge sleeper for fantasy teams, glad I have him on most my teams. Bronson should help cincys pitching but not too much.
  20. QUOTE(The Bones @ Mar 20, 2006 -> 12:06 AM) And only a select few of them aren't ugly. Yeah some of those teachers I dont know why some kids would want a piece of that lol its just awful.
