March 18th Comcast Sport Net Chicago news: A guy (Bruce Levine?) on Comcast Sports Net Chicago mentioned something about Jamie Burke being the probable backup catcher and that there is something in the works as far as an attempt to trade Ben Davis. I disagree. I don't see Burke making the roster. He is shaky at 3B at best and he only has a shot at the roster because he can play a bit there. They aren't going to cut Ben Davis and pay him his $1 million.

Agreed. Canseco paused for a long time before answering. I think he was worried about the repercussions but then just thought, "Oh to hell with it, I may as well answer."

Good question. All I know is that Palmeiro is now on and he's completely denying any steroid use. He is also bashing Canseco pretty hard. McGwire was on just before Palmeiro and refused to implicate his friends or ex-teammates. He was crying for his entire statement.

Yeah, Sosa is innocent. It's funny how his best friend and Cubs teammate Manny Alexander was busted with roids. I'm sure he wasn't sharing them with Sosa.

It's pretty obvious that Sosa and his agent thought all this out before heading to Washington. He is trying to protect his ass at all cost.

I could see them taking Willie & Diaz or Willie & Adkins. They would get a possible 5th starter in either Diaz or Adkins and could play Willie in CF or platoon him with Jose Castillo at 2B. Of course, I'd rather dump Diaz than Adkins since I can't stand watching his slow, straight fastball get rocked. :puke
