White Sox v. San Diego (3/9/05)
Are you glad that Diaz just made you look stupid?

White Sox v. San Diego (3/9/05)
All you need to know is that he only has 2 pitches. That's why he gets rocked.

Kerry Wood injured AGAIN!!!
Until 2006 and they even gave him a no-trade clause. They could have traded him to the Rangers for Mark Teixeira this offseason as well. :headshake

White Sox v. San Diego (3/9/05)
He usually gets rocked, that's what. I crap my pants when he's on the mound. By the way, the Padres announcers are talking about what a bust Ben Davis was as a 1st Round Draft pick for the Padres. Apparently, one guy in the front office wanted Ben Davis and the other wanted Jose Cruz Jr.

Yep. Cubs.com just updated their main page... http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/index.jsp?c_id=chc

White Sox v. San Diego (3/9/05)
I'm glad that Felix isn't making it anywhere our roster this year.

Kerry Wood injured AGAIN!!!
Well, ESPN is reporting "right shoulder tightness."

White Sox v. San Diego (3/9/05)
6th inning: - Dye safe at 1st on a dropped 3rd strike - Crede pops up to 3rd - Widger grounds into a fielders choice; 5-4, thrown away as Widger stays on 1st - Ozuna doubles to right center, Widger scores. 5-0 Sox.

White Sox v. San Diego (3/9/05)
Well, it's a minute behind but it's also free! Too bad I have to listen to these sucky Padres announcers. :sleep One of the Padres announcers just called Crede, "Jose Crede." :headshake

White Sox v. San Diego (3/9/05)
No, I'm listening to the Mighty 1090 online radio feed. It's behind by at least a minute.
-
White Sox v. San Diego (3/9/05)
Wow, the Padres Mighty 1090 audio link is way slow.

Kerry Wood injured AGAIN!!!
http://www.cubs.com/ But Wood is still better than Buehrle!

White Sox v. San Diego (3/9/05)
Buehrle is out with a double-switch. He just hit a batter. No outs. Cliff Politte in to pitch. Pedro Lopez in at 2B.

Sox make first round of cuts
If Borchard has a bad season in the minors I could see Tony Alvarez making the team as a fourth outfielder next season.
-
New Sox Mugshots
Just curious but why don't you nickname Pierzynski as AJ or AJP and Podsednik as Pods?
-
Harris the Super Sub
Agreed. I can't believe Juggernaut is using Willie's defensive stats at 2B and CF to prove that he will be fine defensively at SS or 3B. Simple ridiculous. :rolly

New Sox Mugshots
Ughhh, Joe still looks clueless even in his new photo... :headshake

Pic of CLee from an ST game
Wow. He had somewhat of a gut last season but it's even bigger now. And check out that double-chin. Bernie the Brewer must be servin' up da sauzeege to El Caballo. Pretty soon his nickname will be El Puerqo (The Pig).

Melvin quashes Willie for Helms trade talk
http://rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/p...ort=MLB&id=6080 Who first reported this trade rumor -- Bruce Levine or George Offman? The article really bashes whomever it was...
-
Willie to Milwaukee rumor
Well, it almost makes sense. Wilson Valdez could backup Uribe at SS and Iguchi at 2B. Helms could backup Crede at 3B and provide the right-handed power bat off the bench that Kenny seemingly wants. We would would have a backup at every position and the righty bat that we need off the bench.

Rumors thread
Wow, too bad the Flubs stupidly signed Burnitz. They could have traded for both Urbina and Higginson and filled both their needs. I doubt the Tigers will ask much for both those guys. They mainly just want to dump their salaries.

Rogers article about Frank
Agreed. I don't exactly know how he is at tutoring other players but Frank could make a sick hitting coach when he retires.
-
Rogers article about Frank
Actually, you're not exactly correct. Frank's player option is $10 million. The White Sox team option is $12 million. Frank would have to choose to stay for $10 million. The White Sox could choose to give him $12 million or buyout his contract for $3.5 million, regardless of what Frank chooses. So if Frank declines his $10 million player option, the Sox would have to decide if he is worth $8.5 million ($12 million team option - $3.5 million buyout). http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1650383
