White Sox looking to deal Thomas or Everett
Cruddy isn't better than a Herbert Perry.

White Sox looking to deal Thomas or Everett
If Kenny managed to trade Cruddy + prospect(s) for Eric Chavez and deal Everett for bullpen help, our team could cruise to a division win. Chavez is starting to kill the ball now.

Time to revisit the attendance concerns
Maybe some of you guys should just go to games and enjoy them instead of b****ing about the attendance.

Greg Walker discusses his "pull baseball" motto
I'm just hoping that if they are waiting until Gload can play the outfield, that means that Timo will be getting his ticket to Charlotte or somewhere else. With Gload being a lefty bat and having the ability to play a corner outfield spot, what would be the point of keeping Timo? Oh yeah, Ozzie needs a fluffer in the dugout. By the way, why the hell is Gload's shoulder still sore? He has been playing for Charlotte for 2 weeks. If his shoulder is that bad, why didn't he just not play in Charlotte and rest it for those 2 weeks?

Tribune article about Frank's attitude
Yes, he did. Which is good because his ass should be on the bench if Frank is healthy enough to DH everyday.

The Colorodo series.
Meh, what's the difference? It's not like Crede gets on base anyways. He either hits a homer or does nothing. He may as well be swinging for the fences at Coors.

Sox To Miss Peavy in San Diego Series
Hmmm... Buehrle has a lower ERA on the season (3.15) than Sabathia (3.49). Buehrle also has a lower career ERA (3.70) than Sabathia (4.07). You can say that Sabathia can be a more dominating pitcher than Buehrle but Buehrle is still the better pitcher.

Allow me to open a big, fat can of worms.
I agree with you but as long as Neifi continues to hit like an All-Star, the Cubs won't be missing Nomar nor can Cubs fans use it as an excuse. By the way, Neifi was 3 for 5 with 2 runs today.

I still don't think you watched today's game. I hope you wouldn't rather have Everett over Frank as our DH. If you think Everett is a better hitter than Thomas, you are sadly mistaken. And Frank just turned 37. Everett is 34. Is it time for Carl to hang it up as well?

True, but Neifi is hitting .325 with a .348 OBP, 7 homeruns, and 26 RBI's. Nomar would have a tough time beating those insane numbers. Even Neifi probably doesn't know how he is doing it.

He could have pitched as well as Zambrano.

The funny thing is when Cubs fans b**** about Nomar being injured. LOL, Neifi Perez is playing way above his head and likely doing better than Nomar would be right now. They didn't lose much when Nomar went down. What was he hitting before his injury? .157? :headshake

The Cubs faced a rookie pitcher in Tim Stauffer and two scrubs in Darrell May and Woody Williams. They faced one good pitcher in Adam Eaton and lost that game. Give it a rest, Flubby fan. Where were you when your team was playing like s***? :rolly Better go into hiding again because the Cubs are due for a ton of losses with their tough schedule coming up.

Frank should retire? Did you even see what Frank did in today's game? I think you should "retire" from making idiotic comments like that.

Look at the Cubs' schedule for the rest of this month. They won't be winning for long.

If Peavy had pitched today, they would have split. I am glad that we won't have to see Peavy either though.

Notes: Harris' days numbered?
I won't respond but I want to know why he shouldn't think about the money right now? Why would the $66 million that Griffey is owed not matter?

The Colorodo series.
Freddy Garcia starting and Shingo will likely be used out of the bullpen. Get ready for the longball!

06/05/05 Game Thread vs. Cleveland
I wouldn't mind the loss that much if Hermanson hadn't just given it to them with 2 walks. That was stupid.

Frank's homer would have been a nice walkoff if Marte didn't serve up that homer on a silver platter to Hafner. Oh well.
