QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 08:20 AM) http://people.com/politics/clinton-advisor...t-leaked-email/ Chelsea for President 2024 campaign not off to a roaring start. Ha, I didn't like Chelsea when she had the job at NBC news for no reason. But the leaked emails has improved her image to me. Her Haiti email was brilliant and her internal push was I remove Doug band! I'd vote for her.

I've been checking out cars through Costco and it's been a great experience. Can jump in and out with low-set pricing. Saw a vw sport wagen today. Was nice but I was shocked how tight the back seat was. Car seat was hitting the front seat.

The party of family values. It's always everyone else's fault. The party of personal responsibility. Dems are so hypocritical!

Yes, I can take games like that. Showed Meredith can replace Royal. Howard can play, and sack for Bullard.

If Bernie were up against trump I highly doubt foreign policy chops would be bad. He showed propensity to learn and all of Clintons Fp wonks would have joined him. It is amazing that the dems have put out their most progressive platform since the 80s and there has been zero conservative critique of it from trump.

I can't stand twitter. The making fun of ken bone as if he's some celebrity or person that is fair game for mocking because of how he looked just makes me sick.

Shack I think there is a significant and distinct difference from powerful or star males who use their fame to have sex with lots of women, and assume all women will have sex with them, and forcing yourself on everyone and just expecting they'll accept. Many celebs cheat on their spouses a lot, but how many have as poor of a reputation as trump or trail of harassment stories?

Ayotte looks ridiculous. I feel like the redemption of the Republican Party is going to come from Utah. Though Huntsman looks like an idiot. There's so much that we've known about this, how could this be a surprise? I agree with Barro though that one of the bigger things this shows is his lack of shame, talking like this while mic'd with a tv personality he just met. It's not like he was bugged in a locker room. But, we already know that in a sworn affidavit Ivana accused him of raping her in a rage over hairplug surgery mishap. If this was the straw you are just blowing in the wind.

Any bears injury should scare you. Has anyone come back ahead of their prognosis? We have to have worst med staff in league (in one of the best medical cities in country)

I'd like for rodon to have a great game and see if he can get his ERA under 4. I just feel like Rodon will have a scherzer like rise where it clicks.

QUOTE (Ezio Auditore @ Sep 30, 2016 -> 01:23 PM) I don't recall him doing this "probability" thing in 2008 or 2012. He did, I think election day 2012 they showed Obama with a lead of 1.2 points or something but a 90% odds of winning due to his showings in swing states. I think Silver is right to be skeptical because it's a lot easier to say Obama is more certain when he polls at 48-49%. When you are polling at 45% there is a lot more variance - especially when historically undecideds swing to the non-incumbent (which hillary WOULD BE). OTOH, in the primaries undecideds swung away from Trump.

Also I'd be very surprised if Hillary doesn't win NC. SS - this is a state without jill stein on ballot and where with a .1 polling difference, you should see ground game matter.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 30, 2016 -> 01:05 PM) Nate's model is intentionally ridiculously reactive this year, showing huge swings for slight changes. They also use the Google Consumer Research poll which no one else is using and they weigh it the most heavily for some reason. I think I figured it out, on keepin it 1600 they mentioned that they take recent national polls or state polls and factor that into the trend and apply it to their overall model. It assumes the trend continues. So on Monday, you had a weekend of weak polls for Hillary - in that system it will assume that the trend would continue and pushes it to a net +2 or +3 for trump. But that makes it a lot more reactive to new polls, versus past years where it's model stayed fairly static even as pollercoasters happened. Very weird.
