  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 16, 2016 -> 10:22 AM) What a time to be alive if you're an nba fan (bulls fan not so much). Eh they gotta prove it. That 14 draft has to step up. Lots of longtime stars exited stage right. Aside from curry and Davis doesn't seem like we've really replenished compared to like '10-14 where the amount of top players young and old was best of my lifetime
  2. Hypothetical if Clinton wins: (Dang it I lost the image. Image going around of paul Ryan warning of Bernie sanders budget committee chair) Obama really hurt himself by moving a lot of popular dems in senate and gov roles to admin. I think it's a no brainer to keep warren Murray and sanders in senate in powerful leadership roles. But that does mean you will see a lot of retread clintonistas in admin roles. Having seen how much dems got killed on replacement seats just want to preemptively say that while I may hate some of the choices (like Summers is gonna make an appearance again isn't he?) I prefer it to losing senate/gov talent.
  3. MCW presumably adds defense? Bulls have acquired a lot of 3 and no D guys and so their perimeter is Swiss cheese. And then you get to our interior and also not very good.
  4. QUOTE (Ezio Auditore @ Oct 16, 2016 -> 12:49 AM) These email leaks really aren't contributing much of value, just a lot of noise. Mass dumps of irrelevant information without context is the opposite of how you'd want to reveal useful information. People have all lost their sense of what is news, including media organizations. Two dumbass headlines I've seen in the past 10 minutes: "New York Times contacted Clinton before writing stories about her" "Emails reveal highly scripted nature of a presidential campaign" The first one is basic journalistic ethics! (Granted it was an Infowars guy I saw tweeting this but still." They also contacted Trump before writing stories about his sexual assault allegations. Bias. The second one... ummm no s***? The Patriots offense is also very rehearsed and the coaches do a lot of advance preparation. But many people are actually reading into all this nonsense. Hack bmags says for a candidate people say is shady and untransparent we now have more private information about her and her staff than any candidate ever and...it's all stuff you could have gathered from her public speeches and persona. But it's salacious because it was SECRET (I.e. personal) communications!
  5. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 15, 2016 -> 11:21 PM) Carter-Williams isn't good and he can't shoot at all but that is a no brainer since Snell is horrible. Snell was a long shot to even make team though
  6. Marc stein passing along zach Lowe info that bulls in deep talks for a Michael carter Williams for Snell swap. I don't know c-w contract or how much he has fallen but damn getting anything for snell is crazy.
  7. QUOTE (Ezio Auditore @ Oct 15, 2016 -> 05:07 PM) I got my ballot today and I always manually research the judges - they are supposed to be non-political so it's hard since I'm not in lawyer circles locally. But since the other two voting-age people in my house use my ballot to vote, and my vote pretty much counts like it's 3 votes, I make sure it's right. The ballots are pretty long in presidential years. I basically end up relying on trib voter guide, so it's outsourced regardless
  8. yeah it's ridiculous. And you can only ever really know about them if they do something really wrong. Would love if judges and positions like that were removed from voting
  9. Remember when it was kind of funny when trump was running? That ended. http://www.bostonglobe.com/news/politics/2...UdsM/story.html
  10. QUOTE (Tony @ Oct 14, 2016 -> 06:13 PM) I'm obviously a DEM, but is it fair to even call it the Republican campaign anymore? Obviously that's what is on the ticket, but it's basically DEM's vs. Breitbart at this point. It's insane. When the RNC or leadership actually denounce this man maybe they can wipe their hands clean. But they are cowards.
  11. This republican campaign is astonishing. It's hard to even step back and get perspective now at how crazy this s*** is.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 14, 2016 -> 01:26 PM) I can't stand Pence, but I will give him credit for being intelligent and well read, even if I can't handle most of his positions. I would take Pence over Trump 100/100. If there was an election between trump and pence I would vote for pence. I'm just saying just because he is standing next to Trump does not make him moderate. That is a tragedy of a bill.
  13. TFW when you see dems will pick up a senate seat but it's Evan bayh. I don't have a gif for it but I'm making that face
  14. Pence is a disgusting person. His abortion bill required people seek funeral services for any fetus that died in utero. And it required everyone be cremated or buried. My wife had three miscarriages while we tried for child, and he would have forced us to spend money to comply with his disgusting bill instead of grieve and deal with it as a family. He deserves every hell that comes to him. Principled and kind my ass. Thank God for US judicial system that protected families from his callousness.
  15. Which he was wrong about
  16. At least Andrew Jackson also had a strong policy stance against the banks.
  17. Glad Acorn continues as a cutting edge Zombie Bogeyman
  18. Lol yeah I love that one

QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Oct 13, 2016 -> 09:58 AM) bmags, have you checked the costco prices versus other similar, no-hassle set ups like edmunds? I haven't. Frankly I just trust Costco so much that once I read up in it and saw it had great reviews that was enough for me. I also would call Costco and I was speaking to a person with all my info immediately.
  20. Assange is DEFINITELY onboard with trump now!
  21. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Oct 13, 2016 -> 08:04 AM) Yes, 100 times out of 100, which tells me Boston wouldn't. I agree with you. And it's nutty that people think that's not enough.
  22. QUOTE (Ezio Auditore @ Oct 13, 2016 -> 10:24 AM) This happened to Gallup in 2012, they failed so bad they got out of the horse-race polling business altogether. And we're rewarded with an absurdly big role in a presidential debate
  23. OTOH Ventura was vetted more than Trump ever was due to his governor run.
  24. past is prologue
  25. So then ... the problem isn't Loggains, it's Hoyer. Clearly bears offense has improved, along with Loggains play calling. He did get a wide open Jeffery that was missed.
