  1. Deadspin can be exhausting at their same exhasperating tone at everything, but damn if that didn't make me cry laughing. That article from ESPN was garbage. Lots of tell, little show. Did he say he was from Kansas yet? Kansas! That's a state that's not new york!
  2. I don't think Bears are at a good position in draft to trade down. Ravens are in best position, being ahead of San Fran.
  3. If the act of filling out taxes is what annoys people, there is plenty of support to updating that system, and a very well-funded group aimed against preventing that.
  4. That's true, but depressing.
  5. Seems like best case scenario for Bears is a run on QBs, right?
  6. 2 weeks away from the most boring 12 hours that I am absolutely captivated by. Seems incredibly difficult to pinpoint the Bears on this one, which is fun.
  7. Yep. Should be fun regardless, but I already try to avoid April/May night games as much as possible for the sox, hurts to use one on the cubs.
  8. Could be worse guys. i have a friend in town and everyone organized to go to a baseball game since he loves baseball. Sox aren't home tonight.
  9. Also, historically this is how Tennis worked. Gymnastics too. I think Tennis' big academy might even be in Bradenton too.
  10. The best I got last year was relieved - mostly when we had that Sunday where we beat the royals "twice" in April. But I never felt "yes! this team is lit!"
  11. Somewhere Chisoxfns eye just twitched
  12. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 12, 2016 -> 05:06 PM) Just to clarify, if anybody else gets confused like I temporarily was, this story is about electoral votes in the Fall election, while the rest of the thread is about delegates to the Republican nominating convention. The past 2 pages have been about changing national election to a popular vote.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 12, 2016 -> 03:10 PM) Indentured Servitude sounds right to me. Ha, we've found our 5th starter.
  14. I mean, we should get Lindor right?
  15. Law tweeted yesterday he doesn't even want to post 100 names. Seems like he hates this class. Of course, this was the class I pegged our hopes on rejuvenating our system.
  16. Pretty sure Robin will have no issues putting together a lineup against LHP without Sands. Pretty easy to jump to conclusions 7 games in when it already didin't seem to make sense 0 games in. When your DH is already an outfielder, needing 2 additional outfielders is a lot.
  17. I'm not sure anyone is panicking. But it was around this time last year it was pretty clear Beckham was reserve infielder of choice and Bonifacio was behind both him and shuck for time...and he barely played. Granted he later sucked but Robin just doesn't seem to need that 2nd reserve player. Especially with LaRoche out, our team has so much more flexibility with LF/RF that Sands just has no place, especially with not being a RHP masher or speedy or defensively gifted.
  18. Betting that you know more than Bulls doctors do is a good bet.
  19. 2 reserve outfielders is very difficult unless one of them has a niche specialty, which Sands does not. I maintain I'd rather Leury up due to speed.
  20. Also don't forget she didn't rat on him for murdering Vince Foster. And made him all that money on cattle futures.
  21. Spring Training trades just aren't that common. Look at the Padres, they may have had some feeling they could compete this year, they will certainly be sellers in July. They wouldn't trade in ST.
  22. Hopefully that can be May
  23. Listening to Austin Jackson interview. New fav player.
  24. I hope this was every bit as demoralizing for Minnesota fans as the crap I watched last year in Chicago.
