If the left wing of the democratic party actually cared about issues enough to vote during midterms more than sharing articles on social media they could probably have accomplished more. Hillary's campaign is so much better this time, she's a better candidate than 08. She's smart and she doesn't pull any punches. Something I didn't care for in 08 but see a lot of appeal in now. You know why Clinton has such a murky record? She has actually been in the policy fights of the last 20 years and having to be part of the decisions of watering down or strengthening bills that affected people. Meanwhile Sanders was in his safe lillywhite seat in Vermont sniping. Caucusing with the democrats and never getting an elite chair in the senate. But yeah, I'm sure as president his debate skillz will convince the country to vote in a wave of candidates and create a liberal dream gov't. I'm convinced.

I don't mind the upper deck at all anymore, I just wish we had a more modern outfield area. It's fine! It's good, but then you go to other parks and there aren't many worse. Anaheim probably the only one I'd say was more bare. Edit: the word I was looking for was concourse.

Honestly though that was probably the ugliest design possible. Especially in a city like Chicago, can't believe they'd put up such a basic, functional park.

I still think if fowler signs it will be closer to melky's deal. i don't think 3/30 will happen. If it does that is a tremendous deal, if it's less, its a steal. $10 million for an outfielder with a strength (obp) as good as his is pretty remarkable. But, I think 3/44-45 is what we end up seeing.

You are talking about hall of famers though, not even all stars or really good players. Good players under control for 6 years is still very very valuable. The Royals may not have a single hall of famer, and won the world series.

No idea what that office is going to be able to do that they couldn't do over the phone/remotely, and of course I'll have no way of verifying that everything's functional when I leave that office. Google fiber can't come fast enough. edit: I hate getting mad at CSRs because I know how s***ty of a job that can be (please don't yell at Southwest phone people, you may be yelling at my mom!) and really, it's not their fault that Comcast is such a pile of garbage company with underpaid and usually incompetent technicians. I had a similar situation happen to me. They ended up cancelling my entire account as a customer, so I lost my easy to remember email and all account info. Took 8 days to correct and 6 one hour conversations. I did lose my temper once, but for the most part I have had a good experience with comcast.
