Yeah and I really think the fact that Hossa was signed and sold as the guy to put us over the top for cups, and then that happened. That's probably right. Rank: 1. Hossa - was signed as the piece to get us over the hump. That happened. 2. Jermaine Dye - from FA signing to top 5 MVP voting 3. Julius Peppers - DPOY and got bears to NFCC 4. AJP Don't follow cubs much. Maddux?

I really don't care about announcers bringing in advanced analytics. That does mean they need to wax poetic about RBI production, but I have to say, any time someone verbally talks about a players wRC+ it sounds really dumb. Use the graphics for it, but stuff like "This guys fWAR is through the ROOF" makes it sound like they are trying too hard. It's why Len Kasper is the worst announcer in the game and so terrible and awful. Looking forward to this guy.

The funny thing is I actually think there is room for this (went to a Missouri basketball game and a student group "the antlers" was chanting really ridiculous stuff that 19 year old dudes would think is funny but it is a family event), but they chose the things I would put in the "YOU CAN STILL SAY THIS" stuff. But lots of vulgarity in kids these days, I tell ya.

Speaking of: it's not like delivery services are lowing prices. Shouldn't they see some bigger margins from gas being $2 cheaper? They don't look like any price boon is built into their stocks now.
