  1. Honestly would not be mad if Gordon became starting 3b. I have zero confidence in Gillaspie doing the following: - Coming in toward a chopper - Going to his left - Going to his right I'm fine with him going backward and staying put. Beckham's overexposed offense
  2. QUOTE (Boogua @ May 12, 2015 -> 08:52 PM) What amazes me is that their role players are absolutely crushing our role players. Lebron had a fantastic game and the Cavs were -4 with him on the floor. I know it's a flawed stat, but when he's off the floor and James Jones and Dellavadova are out there the Bulls should be killing them and they just haven't been. Mirotic was a -23 in 18 minutes. Aaron Brooks (who has just been atrocious all series) was a -12 in 7 minutes. This is a great post. Obviously dunleavy showed up. Maybe it's wht we demand them to do. On Miami, james jones really can just sit at the 3 point line. I feel like we need them to randomly run our whole offense. Which seems like what we know, we just aren't moving the ball!
  3. Everyone loves a whiny b**** face whose had the league handed to him from day 1.
  4. omg that unreal block by lebron makes it so easy to miss the obvious blocking foul
  5. This is honestly remarkable to be this bad on the road and opposite at home.
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 12, 2015 -> 12:05 PM) I wouldn't call this Bulls team "virtually healthy" Most guys are playing, but guys like Taj and Jo are playing through some nasty stuff. It's the playoffs.
  7. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 12, 2015 -> 10:52 AM) Seriously, I find all the whining from others funny. These are the 2 best teams in the East playing each other and they are going at it. It has been incredibly enjoyable to watch. Now lets win tonight baby!!! Sorry, but I'd find losing to the Cavs with a hobbled Lebron and Kyrie and a virtually healthy bulls team more devastating than any of the Heat losses prior.
  8. I'm more interested in finding out who is a fan of it.
  9. Ugh. Would have been a DP anyway, which is mandatory for white sox o do with men in scoring position
  10. Jose has been chasing AWFUL sliders away recently
  11. Ugh, so annoying this could be 6-3 with one out.
  12. Maybe there was an angle we did not see
  13. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ May 11, 2015 -> 06:46 PM) What's worse is some coaches play better closeout defense than (Insert bad defender here. I think the current league whipping boy is Damian Lillard?). Del Negro and Spoelstra are the most notorious for it. They'll take a step or two out on the floor and stamp their feet or clap when a guy's shooting. f***ing ridiculous and should be a T every time. Thibs took out a player earlier in year not following a fast break, just seems dumb. Will probably change when someone gets injured.
  14. General gripes below: I used to ban going to games in April. This year I was so excited I had the bulk of my tickets last month and Friday. I have yet to see a win in person (was at Royals suspended play portion of game), and it has been truly miserable weather in all except opening day. All in winter gear getting rained on. So, point is, "yeah weather", having now been to a respectable amt. in April, I will never frontload tickets again. Also - I had not print out my tickets for Friday, and the box office had no idea how to get me proof to show real box office that I had tickets (can't manage past tickets). Strange to me that something as simple as a rain delay was difficult to figure out.
  15. Eh, it does kind of look like it. Coaches should be t'd up for stepping onto court anyway. Happens all the time, but it's really annoying. How hard it is it?
  16. I love dunleavy, but man, just seems like he either gets 18 points or 0 points and fouls out.
  17. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ May 10, 2015 -> 10:28 PM) Yes it would be, that's an ERA of nearly 5 I'll take 5 over the 6.5 we are sporting now.
  18. QUOTE (Brian @ May 10, 2015 -> 07:02 PM) AB got T'd up for the same thing in Game 3. Is AB an initial that people know and can identify?
  19. Gordon's play has been welcome, previous performance aside. I was never that enamored with his 2b offense, but my God him playing 3b vs Gillaspie playing 3b is night and day. I will take the horrendous offense just to give some reliability at one position in the infield defense.
  20. I was thinking about it, with Noesi maybe injured, I feel better about this rotation: Sale Smja Q Rodon/Carrol Danks/Carrol. Danks will just have game where everyone can see, the ball just isn't staying down. It's a 7 spot waiting to happen. Give it 2 innings and if he can't keep it down bring in Carrol. I say Rodon / Carrol just because who knows how economical Rodon can be. Danks has shown he is capable of some randomly brilliant games, but its quite obvious when he doesn't have it. Carrol is by no means a great pitcher, but he has shown ability to just try and get as many groundballs as possible and I'll take it.
  21. Amazing that you think with as tired and awful as bulls looked today that they will be able to be a "decent" bulls team the rest of the series.
  22. the spacing in the second quarter drought was the most embarrassing offense effort I've ever seen. Players just clumping next to each other. they are just an inconsistent team that always plays their worst when they have the easiest path to victory.
