  1. So how angry will everyone be when we decide not to amnesty boozer?
  2. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 09:13 PM) Other than the Nets and Andrei Kirlenko, I wonder if a team has ever tried paying a player by laundering them money. Timberwolves with Joe Smith right?
  3. Per @NBA: Salary cap for 2014-15 season jumps to $63.065 million. Tax level is $76.829 million. Minimum team salary is $56.759 million I did not realize the salary floor was so close to the salary cap.
  4. Nobody should be rooting for Kyrie/Lebron/Love that wants bulls to win a championship in next 4 years.
  5. Hysterical to me that Bulls were not even top 2.
  6. LOL even the good news is bad news: Ramona Shelburne ✔ @ramonashelburne Follow Carmelo Anthony's agent Leon Rose tells ESPN that "he hasn't made a decision yet" on Knicks/Lakers.
  7. I really thought when Mavs traded Tyson Chandler it was set in stone he was leaving. Then every day after that things started looking worse.
  8. QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 08:15 PM) If The Decision 2010 is any indication, the choice is always what nobody expects LBJ and Melo to LA! There were people leaking james to MIA that whole day, we just chose not to believe them.
  9. Hopefully Isola was catfished.
  10. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 08:07 PM) I think it's a pretty clear sign that Melo is fine trying it for a couple years and if he doesn't like it or Phil doesn't get the FA's he wants, he'll whine his way out of town like he did in Denver. Yeah, just strange because any contract would be people paying for the year 30 and year 31 seasons. Now it will be him in decline for 32-onward. Also...didn't he want free agency so he could go to a team that wouldn't have to gut themselves for him?
  11. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 09:03 PM) The Daily News is a tabloid and that reporter is the Knicks beats guy. So i would expect a non-commital pro-Knicks article like that from him. Funny how Frank Isola's pro-bulls possibility articles have been linked up like gospel but as soon as he gets a source, and woj retweet, he's discredited.
  12. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 09:00 PM) Interesting: Yeah, I have no idea what the hell this means.
  13. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 08:57 PM) 1. Denial 2. Anger 3. Bargaining 4. Depression 5. Acceptance
  14. <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8">Dudes, it's over. YOu get NOTHING. Good DAY SIR.
  15. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 08:52 PM) I would trust Broussard over the NY Daily News. He has been the most pro-bulls possibility out there. Him reporting this means it's set in stone.
  16. It's all over. Melo to NYK.
  17. Cleveland looks so beautiful. edit: ohh, his miami home. That neighborhood doesn't look that nice.
  18. My mind's tellin me Noooooooooo but my BODY my BODYYyy
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 07:16 PM) So like 10 pages since last time I was in this thread and all we've got is moving trucks and Jarret Jack being traded, right? yes.
  20. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 07:15 PM) Now they have photos of moving trucks at his house. Jesus this s*** is creepy. Also, with that pic who knows if it's even his house.
  21. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 07:05 PM) If I were cleveland, I really would not be down with being the place where Lebron wipes his ass until New York opens up into a better situation in 2 years. I would not like that at all I don't think that's a scenario, tbh. If Lebron signs short-term he's signing Heat. CLE should be a 4 yr deal.
  22. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 05:51 PM) Glad they are signed, would have loved a lower number but at least it's not 12. Here's hoping NHL revenue continues to increase the cap in future years. I'd really like both to retire a Hawk if the contracts in 8 years are worth it, but you get the feeling one or both will be in Buffalo/Winnipeg. This is where the Stan over-payments to other guys really come into play. Going to have to count on some of these young guys plugging bigger holes really soon. Plus there will be moves made, if not this year then certainly next summer. Maybe it's better. Stan seems to be a much less sentimental decision maker under the capgun.
  23. Except Melo appears to love everything about New York except the Knicks. I think he'd bide his time for a year if James has a 2 year deal, 1 year opt out. The knicks people, have basically 1 contract on the books for 2015-2016. I've said before, it's pretty impressive tbh what PHil Jackson has done so far.
  24. QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 05:50 PM) The whole deal seems plausible until you realize that the Knicks sent picks along, too. When it was in reality a salary dump for TOR, the Knicks sent extra assets as if they had been convinced they were the ones dumping salary and were lucky to get a player like Bargnani in return. That's good stuff. Did anyone think that was a good deal when it was made? Dolan was ecstatic. Not only a pick, an unprotected 1st.
